CHAPTER XVIII
Past & back at hex house
My eyes were hurting due to lot of crying, when someone's hand touched my shoulder, I looked at Alex his other hand was holding the gun, seeing it I jerked his hand away.
"You killed her", I said sobbing.
"So? You don't know anything girl, I had killed many like that", Alex said.
"Do you want to be one of them, joining their soul", he asked me with loading the gun with other sets of bullets.
I was in trouble, a lot of trouble, I must have hide somewhere when I find myself on the road instead of coming with this people.
I just nodded my head into "No", Alex just looked at the car,
"You don't talk about this to anyone", he said pointing his gun towards me.
"You open your mouth about this you die, the very next", he said ordering me.
"Enter the car", he ordered.
"Where are you taking me?", I asked him.
"You don't question girl, do as I say", Alex said grabbing me by the shoulder and then shoving me inside the car.
The partition had came back, hiding two dead bodies behind it .
The voice of starting of car brought me back to the dark road.
I looked at Alex , the creepy man who was silently driving the car
What? How can he drive the car when two dead bodies are inside it!
After few minutes Alex stopped the car turning towards me.
"Listen to me, we are going to enter the place, as you get inside the house you will not speak to anyone about what happened", he said pointing towards the backside of the car.
"If anyone asked you about yourself, tell them you lost your memory", he said.
"And remember you say something about this you die"! , Alex said in high voice and started the car.
The car took turn and entered the unknown area, the spotlights was making the area gleam in darkness .
And now everything around me looked familiar , my eyes couldn't believe that I was seeing the place from where I was trying to run away.
I looked around for making sure that I was not in some dilemma, but everything was same.
Alex pointed his gun back to me and gestured to get out of the car.
As I stepped out the hexed house came in front of me, I was standing in front of the house, where Madeline, Avon, James , Charlotte and Neena were still inside , the place which took me on the road, the same place which was been my nightmare.
But the difference was the house was looking new , the spring of water was cascading through the fountain the swings were rust free and the lights were making the mansion look like a real palace and not some haunted house.
"Follow me ", Alex's voice mad me take steps near the house.
As we entered the house, the place looked like a royal house.
The area were dining table was their was replaced by a statue of some antique creation lighting the room with its shine, the fireplace was helping in making the room warm and every other thing was the same furniture which I had seen in present with just a small differences .
There was no television but instead of it a big painting was hanging on the wall surrounding it by lot of vases filled with flowers.
Someone's footsteps coming from the stairs made me look at the girl dressed in a simple white dress .
She looked at me and ignored me and went towards Alex.
"Did you brought her back?", she asked to him.
But Alex didn't answered and went towards the brown colored couch.
"I asked you something Alexander", this time she raised her voice which lead her a tight slap from Alex.
"You don't raise your voice at me", he said holding her by her neck.
"Where is Anthony?, if he get to know that you touched me..", before she could complete her sentence Alex took his gun and pointed it at her head making her stop questioning the very next.
"Your dear Anthony is already dead , so don't you dare to threat me with his name", Alex said.
"You killed him", the girl asked.
"Your beautiful sister killed him", Alex said throwing her on the floor.
"Stella can't do it, she cannot kill anyone, she is not like you", the girl said crying.
If the girl in car was Stella then this must be Rose or Mia or someone else.
"I told you what was the truth, if you don't want to believe then I don't care about it", Alex said gripping his gun tightly and walk towards me.
"Then where is Stella?", she asked this time her voice came out in a whisper.
Alex stood in front of me, he was going to speak , when someone came from behind making him step back looking at the direction of the person.
My mind was going to explode by seeing all the new faces at every new minutes , the puzzle was getting more confusing and know I was getting trap deeper than I had thought. Stella, Mia, Rose, the three girls name kept on rising up in my head of which one was dead , and who was killed in front of my eyes.
Her blood drops were runned from my face but small stains of blood was still on my cream colored T-shirt.
"Who is this girl?" asked another man's voice.
"She is .... " Alex said looking at me making me turn at the unknown voice.
"I'm Emma", I said holding my gaze at the middle aged looking man with strong face and heavy voice.
"How did she came over here?",he asked Alex without talking to me.
"I found her in the middle of the road", explained Alex.
"She could be used instead of Stella", Alex continued his talk which were creating more question and fear in my mind .
"What happened to Stella?", he asked.
"I shot her down, she tried to run away on our way back", Alex said making the girl cry louder and running towards up.
The man standing in front didn't say anything.
"Where is Anthony?, I need him to meet me", he ordered.
"Anthony didn't came with me, he said he will come after he finish some work ", Alex lied to the man.
How can he say it so carefree, the an named Anthony died in front of him , he himself killed Stella and now he is lying to this dangerous looking man so easily and if he told the truth to that unknown girl then why did he lied to this man?
The man walked away without talking further and went away.

Alex gave me the last room on the second floor , I saw the library and other rooms what made me curious was the room opposite the library.
Was it open or locked ,and if it was open then what was inside the room, who must be staying in it, it can be the room of Rose or Mia or Alex . The idea of sneaking out in the middle of the night and checking what was in the room came in my head .
"What is going in your mind", Alex asked me.
"Nothing", I said.
"If you are thinking to run away, then there is no one who stay nearby this place, and even if you try to exit this place I will be the one who will search for you and then kill you", he said .
I didn't want myself to be dead, I wanted to go back in the present time and wanted to be with my family.
"And tomorrow when I see you , the first thing you explain me is that what were you doing on that road", Alex said slamming the door behind him.
Taking my mind back to what must be going in the present time.
What scared me most was, what if they would be also in the past time like me.

JAMES P.O.V.
A sudden force hit me when I was standing behind Avon as we saw the Shadow walking creepily in the passage and then everything happened so fast that I didn't saw something was coming towards us, I had never believed in spirits, ghost or any supernatural things, but this house was going to change the fact to get my belief on this things turning as they exist.
I hold the railing before I could loose my balance and drop down and hit my head. I heard Emma's cries as she stumbled down the steps , I so wanted to run to save her when Avon stammered on my leg making me loose my grip on the railing and falling on the stair. Avon head got banged to the corner of stairs making him cursed loudly.
But I took hold of Avon's hand and pulled him back so that he could balanced himself , I couldn't see Neena and Charlotte near us. I looked at Avon whose head was bleeding from the right side.
But he regained his posture and stood up looking for his sisters.
I followed him down searching for Nina Charlotte, and Emma.
I saw Neena and Charlotte hiding themselves at the corner of couch, but Emma was not there, I looked around the whole living room but I couldn't see her. Where did she went ? , I looked for her near the dining area but she was not there too.
Avon's voice roared in the room making me keep on thinking about where did she disappear.
"Where is Emma?", Avon asked looking at Neena and Charlotte.
Neena and char were so scared that they were shivering with fear.
Avon was saying something to me but my mind couldn't concentrate on anything, only one person kept coming in my mind "Emma".
I don't know why I was caring or thinking about her so much, but she had became one of the reason where I had started looking at my life differently.
Someone will say when you lose everything in your life there is nothing you can do and there is no reason to live with such terrible present and horrible past but then sudden light enters your life, comforts your heart the way it want and unintentionally captures your heart without even letting you know that it has already stolen away from you .
"Are you even listening to me?",Avon's voice brought me back from my whipped thoughts.
"What were you saying?", I asked looking at him.
"We should search for Madeline and Emma", he said on the verge of crying.
Avon cared a lot about his sister and from the time Madeline has disappeared he had lost himself, and now Emma had went away , I was knowing something was wrong about this place and the day when I saw the girl outside the club talking to Emma and how she just disappeared when I went near them , I was sure Emma was knowing more about this weird place, but now she has gone leaving us to know about this place by ourselves.
"I can't loose my sisters like this", forAvon said holding his face in his hands.
"We will find them", I said trying my best to console him but deep down I myself was scared of some unknown feelings rising in my dear heart.
