Chapter 10
It was the end of Art and we had found out that we were now stuck as a group for the rest of the year. Jynx, Katie and Red all stood up. "Ready to go to music?" Red asked, picking up my sketchpad of the desk and helping me put it in my bag.
"Yep." I said happily, popping the 'p'. I put my bag over my shoulder and linked arms with a very suprised Red. "You alright?" She asked, locking eyes with me. "Yeah, just don't want to get lost thats all." I replied quietly.
The corridors were crowded with people, I'm pretty sure we lost Kate and Jynx. "Are Kate and Jynx in our music lesson?" I asked Red loudly, over the sea of people, it sounded like whispering. She replied with, "Yes and I hope you can sing because Miss needs another female voice. Shes sick of the pops bullying everyone else."
When the crowd of people had died down a bit, we found Kate and Jynx at the lockers getting their music stuff. "The pops?" I asked, pointing at Red. "The popular people of the school, They think they own the place. The girls who stepped up to you last time are the boss's apparently." Red shrugged.
I laughed a little at the ' I really don't care though' look on her face. Kate and Jynx stiffened. "Whats up?" I whispered to Kate. "Populars." She replied, still stiff. Jynx let out a growl of protection over our little group. Her hair stood out a little like hackles.
"Awwww, the freak returned. Hello Katie. Hope you are well." The blonde idiot in front said, flicking her hair at me and Red, completely ignoring Jynx. "I am well and its Alpha, Alpha Black." Katie replied coldly.
The girl just stood there. "I am aware of that Alpha Katie." She replied, turning towards me. "Who on earth are you? And why havent I met you yet?" She demanded, reaching towards my hair to try to move it so she could see my face better.
I slapped her hand away. "I dont like you, you're rude and disrespectful, now turn and leave." I growled. "You have no power here." She smiled, "I'm an Alpha, I've got power." I returned the smile before turning to come face to face with a teacher.
She had short brown hair and big owl like eyes, she wore a light green dress with black tights and black and green dolly shoes. "Hello Miss." Red said politely. "These guys giving you trouble?" She replied, looking straight towards Jynx and Katie. They looked extremely uncomfortable.
"Go to lessons, otherwise I will punish you and it wont be pretty." She said to the girls in front of her. "Miss, your not allowed to do that. " The blonde girl sneered. "Don't be Rude!" I ordered. "Who gave you the right to order ME around?" She replied, getting up in my face.
"Thats quite enough." Jeff said, appearing out of a classroom, with Slenderman and Jane behind him. "Mr Killer, I did nothing wrong." She said, looking at him whist batting her eyelashes.
"Yes, I believe you were rude to Miss Knight. So you will be punished, you have detention for a week and that includes your friends." Jane said calmly, Walking towards Red. Reds face lit up like a kid on christmas day.
"Ughhhhhh." Blondie and her friends replied as they turned and walked down the corridor. "You Missy, no more trouble." Jane said wrapping her arms around Red lovingly. "Hey Spirit no more trouble." Jeff said, pointing a finger at me. I nodded and looked at Miss Knight who gave me a welcoming smile.
"Follow me girls, Thank you Jeff, oh and you Jane." She said happily. She looked up at Slenderman and nodded, He nodded back then disappeared into thin air. Jeff and Jane went into their different classrooms so we were alone with Miss Knight.
She walked quickly, I had to jog a little to catch up with her. She turned into a classroom with musical instruments spread out with students sat at desks. They were singing in tune and Kate and Jynx went to sit next to a boy with black messy styled hair.
"Sit where ever Spirit." Miss Knight said. The whole class looked up, wondering who would be stuck with me. I went and sat with Jynx and Katie, they smiled. Everyone went back to their work, chatting quietly, some were singing what they had to do later on.
"Do I have to sing too?" I whispered in Jynxies ear, she shivered slightly and nodded. "You can pick the song though." Kate pitched in, not listening to my whispering at all. "Wheres Red?" I asked looking around.
"Red went to the toilet, she will be back in a minute." Miss Knight said as she walked passed us. "Who are you then?" I asked the boy with the blue eyes. "I'm Lani, it means-" I cut him off. "Sky or heaven, I'm guessing because of your eyes."
He smiled. He was a gifted wolf like me, a very prized possession of any pack. "Hey Kate, this one yours?" I asked, she laughed loudly. "Hes not my type..." She waved. "Shes not my type." He smiled, looking up at Katie.
"Hes a werewolf though, and he's a special, like you." She said, standing up. she walked towards the drums and sat down with some drum sticks. The sweet sound of the drums filled the room, silencing more or less everyone. Red returned, and Katie stopped drumming. They both sat down.
"Red..., " I asked. "Yeah?" She replied. "Would you sing with me?"
"Of course, what we gonna sing then? You choose." She replied happily.
"Lets search. " I said, dragging her towards the computer at the back of the room.

"Now what?" I asked. "Well, lucky for us its a double lesson, but i'm just as lost as you are." She laughed. "Ummm, how about we do... Everything has changed!" I yelled. "Yeah, I'm singing the Ed Sheeran bit!!" Red agreed.
Miss Knight noticed our sudden shouting and called us to sing first. "Oh god..." I whispered. "Who's that?" Kate said sarcasticly.
Red picked up the bright red guitar from a case in the corner. She strumed a little then started to play.
I started to sing loudly.

I breathed in and noticed we had caught the entire class's attention, and Miss Knight was looking proudly at us. I contuinued.

With the guitar and the song, we did'nt notice that Jeff, Jane and Slenderman and their classes had come into the room to watch us.
I continued on my own.

We finished the song then looked at the rest of the class. They were cheering and Jane looked proud of Red. Red was beaming, like someone had turned on the lightswitch of happiness. I looked over to Jeff and Slenderman, Slendermans face was expressionless and Jeff was smiling weirdly.
The end of the day came fast, and proper training classes started tomorrow. I went home and ate dinner quietly, listening to the hustle and bustle of the whole house, but as I was tired and i shortly went straight to bed.
