"So what are you gonna do with Drake ?" asked Kelly , as we ate dinner . Mum made roast chicken with roast potatoes and salad , just the way I like it .
I swallowed down all the food in my mouth before I could speak , but I had no clue what to say.
"I don't know! What should I say ?"
"What do you mean what should you say !? That bastard hurt you , tricked you into doing stuff you didn't want to do . He should go into prison for doing that !" Kelly's voice was going higher when she spoke Drakes name . The word 'prison' startled me as she said it . Drake .... going to prison ? That can't be right , he would be going in prison because of me !
"Kelly , I don't know the right words to say . It's hard , he was my first love , how can I just let him go ?" I asked .
"Just break up with him . Tell him why, he should know himself exactly why your breaking up with him. He's done nothing but lie to you , you can't let him keep on getting away with things ! Allz I understand he's your first boyfriend , but remember he got you drunk just so that he could sleep with you . What boyfriend would do that ?"
Kelly did have a point . What boyfriend would do that to his girlfriend? I remembered the day Drake said he loved me , that way I felt loved and filled with happiness . I felt like all of that was just a lie , every kind word he said was thrown into a rubbish bin.
"Your right Kellz. I can't let him get away with it, not this time ."
" That's right . I'll help you out , but you have gotta be strong and confident when you explain to him . It will be tough at first , but things really do get better , I promise . " Kelly gave me a small cuddle and smiled at me , trying to make me feel better . All I could do was give a weak smile back and finish eating my dinner .

"Mum , can I show you something',' I said , sitting down next to my mum on the sofa.
" Sure sweetie . What is it ?" Mum turned off the TV and looked at me .
This was it , I was gonna tell her. I took out my report card from behind me and placed it on her lap . Mum looked Down at the brown envelope on her lap and opened it up. My knees were shaking while my hands were going all sweaty.
"Ally , it's not what I expected . You worked so hard for these exams but halfway you trailed off into another world because of some guy who doesn't appreciate anything about you ."
Mum was defiantly disappointed , unhappy. That was the last thing I wanted to make my mum feel , I just wanted to make her happy but instead I let myself down and my mother .
"I'm sorry mum. I just took the wrong path ."
"Well , we will figure something out to fix this mess . Your a beautiful , clever girl Ally . When you were born , my whole world changed into something better . You were the daughter I had always wanted . Your father would of always wanted!" A tear flickered down my mums eye and she put her hand on my cheek.
My dad , the one who I adored . The way he used to tickle me and make me laugh , the way he cheered me up in my baddest moods , the way he tried to cook but ended up burning the food . The way he slow danced with my mum , the way he gave me piggy bank rides and pretend I was the princess and he was my enchanted unicorn. I remember that very day he died . The very day i lost someone important to me ❤️
