Tears
There's this thing about tears. They bring silence after them. There's just this silence that follows you like nothing else, this crushing weight. There's just this that you can't control. The dripping of liquid, the darkest of skies. The indoor rain that doesn't always stop until there's nothing left. Nobody can do a thing and simply watch as the shards fall from your eyes and leave behind barely healing scars,
The scars,
The marks,
The ingrained pain nobody can ever heal,
It just doesn't stop.
