"A Peaceful Morning"

The training room that Lumiere and Lime came in is not exactly what she expected. The room has high glass walls among four walls that extend along with the skies and training equipment on the back that resembles a jungle gym. The ground is grass-like in any other training room.

However, the people inside the room are a  mess.

A big wolf is chasing after Khal while the latter is having fun throwing water balls at the furred guy. Lime chuckled at them but soon approached Yuel who was having a nap on the wood platform at the side of the room.

The girl searched for the 8th guy but he was still not there. She heard someone open the glass door behind as if on cue, and there he is. With a lollipop in his mouth and hands in his pocket. They were complete.

A red bird suddenly flies inside the room and rests on Lumiere's shoulders. "So, What do you want to do?" It asks.

Lumiere sighs, "I would love to spar with Math. That motherf*cker trapped me here. But there are way too many things to consider."

The bird, Theo, tilts its head in confusion. "Are you mad?"

Lumiere didn't respond so Theo decided that it was best to leave the girl alone and assist his students instead. He wakes up Yuel and they all tipped their heads to greet the elder. When everyone busies themselves with tasks, Lumiere sits on the 3 low stairs of the platform and thinks.

"Are you okay?" A low voice asked behind Lumiere.

Winter made himself comfortable beside the girl which forces the girl to talk. "Yeah, I don't know where to start with your team."

"Our team."

"..Sure."

Winter thinks of a way to help the new kid, "Well, we have a tab that controls this room. We can also fetch some food from the canteen. It's free, by the way. And uh, I can accompany you to the Dean if you want to settle your enrollment. Theo probably handled it but you still have to attend an interview. For Dean's assessment about you and well your, Uhm, abilities."

Lumiere can't help but smile, "We just ate at home. I want to see the tab."

Winter handed her a holographic tab but he sighs, "I'm still hungry."

Lumiere scrolls on the tab and studies the things that she can learn on her new team. There was a video assessment of Sky sparring with Lime but it ended with the both of them gasping for air. Another opened with Yuel tinkering with liquids in a laboratory. The clip cuts to a clip where Chris is sticking on the wall with blue gooey liquid on his body. Yuel laughs heartily with the rest of the team as Chris throws a peace sign for the camera.

On the other side of the training room, Mason lays in the grass next to Sky as the knight polishes his sword on a holographic table. "What do you think of her?"

Sky didn't even spare a glance at his surroundings, "We can't deny her authority. From her power, I mean."

Mason clicks his tongue in response, "What about her personality?"

Sky thinks for a second. He stops polishing the sheath of his sword and looks for the girl only to find her getting up with the tab still on hand. "I expected a brat but as long as she won't be a problem."

The shapeshifter smirks and continues to watch Lumiere but the girl senses it even while concentrating on the tab. She didn't look up but the shapeshifter notice the flicker of her fingers that could be the reason for the sudden raise of the wind around them. Mason chuckles on this. He thinks again, "What if she kills us? Under Simeon's orders or her own will? Are we going to kill her?"

"I would not lie, dude." Sky sighs, his shoulder drooping at the thought. "I don't think she even wants to be here."

Lime appears behind them. "Sky." He called.

The knight felt a headache coming but gives the demon his attention. "The fuck you want?"

"Throw your sword in her direction." Lime whispers, seemingly wanting to be discrete but failing as he points to the door where Lumiere and Winter are closing.

Sky's forehead furrows, "Gago ka ba?"

"Try it." Math said in his wolf form, walking to the side so he won't be caught with the blade. This shocks Sky because Math has always been the responsible older member if Chris is not available. Mason, one of the older members, grins widely as Chris didn't seem to notice it. Even Yuel is waiting with Khal on the massive jungle gym.

Sky was reluctant at first but Lumiere and Winter were feet away from the door. He fumbles with his sword. Black air seeped from it coating his hands.

He thinks, "If she can survive my bubblegum then I guess this won't be a big wound."

So he throws his blade.

It flies across the room, the black air that coats the blade seems to look like ribbons swaying in the wind. Sky thought that Lumiere had her guard down but he thought wrong. When the sword was a few feet from hitting the girl, Lumiere disappeared and reappeared next to Sky with his blade in hand. She drops it to the table, making the polisher and rugs clutter at its heaviness.

This leaves the team gaping. Lumiere left without a word. Winter followed her behind like a headless chicken.

The team was in a trance but they all became panicked when Chris coughs in front of them to gather their attention. His disappointment was evident on his pale face.

Mason and Lime automatically point to Sky.

Math pretends to be asleep.

Yuel and Khal continue their practice.

Sky was defeated. "Dinner's on me, I guess."

"Dishes too," Chris said, turning his attention back to the papers he is reading. Sky swears that he heard Math chuckle in victory.

While somewhere in their universe, an eye watches everything unfold. From the team's first encounter. They wait until Lumiere holds the knight's blade on ease and her reaction to everything. They couldn't help but laugh, setting everyone that hears it in fear.

"How could a little bug like you shake up the whole story?"

They turned their seat around to drown themselves in the image of their realm. The entity puts its face against its cold palms. This entity taps their long monstrous nails against the side of their head to ponder.

Minutes go on as the entity recounts the whole story. It was frustrating from the start and to its unknown end.

"If it starts in winter, it should also end in winter."

But this was again, uncertain.

The entity's servant dared to speak, "If I may, I think that the girl is a big variable to stop or for us to continue our plans. She is way too unexpected. She can never be controlled."

The slant eyes of this entity turned dark purple and their hands produced an orb in the same color. The entity became enraged but the servant never flinched. "It is I that controls the universes. A bug could be removed."

"Unless that bug is not a bug but rather a useful character. I apologized if it offended you, my liege. However, I do not lie. Not in front of the venerable one."
