Sometimes I lie awake in bed
Thinking about tomorrow.
Sometimes I ponder death itself
in my deepest sorrows.
I've dreamt of fortune,
I've dreamt of fame,
You can take my heart
It's a worthless claim.
Tattered and broken,
I'm no longer sure it beats.
After all,
who would want a heart so incomplete.
My sanity is pending,
These countless scars keep my heart from mending,
I've given up on love,
My hearts had enough.
Lies, excuses, thousands of 'I don't cares'
This game called love, just isn't fair.
I'm over it, done and through,
My heart can't take another bruise.
I am not incapable of this emotion
I am not immune to the love potion,
I know only scars, no love in its place
My chest holds no heart,
only an empty space.
A/N: ok before you say anything!!!! I know, I know!!! Cheesy way to end a poem! I was just gonna end it at "after all who would want a heart so incomplete!" So be happy I went further ;) any who, I thinkers I'm a gonna delete meet me after dark :( I. Just don't know what it is I think I need to rewrite it!
