Author's P.O.V:
The hour seemed like dragging on forever, but what you didn't realise that your wrist watch had stopped exactly on 3 am. Although glad someone was here with you, you had no idea how or why Sehun was here
Y/n: S-Sehun, h-how did you get here?
Sehun: Taeyeon told me to get your bag, so I came here to get your bag
Y/n: B-but I thought you couldn't go
Sehun: *scratching neck* well I changed my mind, right now let's focus on staying alive?
You nodded, looking back at the raggedy old toy that was in your possession; you still couldn't get over the shock of losing V "I miss you" why was V so important? You couldn't put it down correctly but the only person in your mind was V, the memories you had with him, the joy you once had just by being with a voice trapped inside a pice of cloth and cotton "please come back"
Once so thought stable atmosphere, Sehun carefully creaked the door open, just enough to let a sharp gust pass through
Sehun: I think it's safe to come out, but we can never be too careful
Y/n: W-what do you suggest?
Sehun: Since you're the victim here let's not get you involved. I'll go downstairs and check first, do not and I mean do not come down unless or until I say so. Even if it means an hour passed by, don't come down
You nodded and soon you were the only one in the room, along with your thoughts and V. Your face was covered in blood, sweat and tears as you sat down waiting.

You felt like an hour passed by, all you could do was wait and look at the doll in your hands. But whenever you did tears just fell like diamonds "what is going on V? Tell me" your head was aching so you decided to take a break and soon you were out cold
Opening your eyes the sun blinded you,
"not another day in hell"
walking towards the entrance it was buzzing with people. You ignored all as you walked towards your desired place, as you opened the lockers you felt a light tap on the shoulders. You turned to look as there was no one but youth, a young fellow with a smile all so bright
???: hello! You must be the new transfer student
tilting your head you just nodded, not a single word though. Something about this boy seemed familiar, before even being able to see the lad's face your image became blurry
???: I'm-
The sound never went
Y/n: What?
???: Y/n! Y/n! Wake up!!

Sehun: Y/n wake up!
Y/n: W-what what happened?
Sehun: You fell asleep
Y/n: Really?
Sehun: I wouldn't blame ya, it's four in the morning
You blinked couple of times before sitting up
Sehun: Come on, I found a way out
Y/n: Where?
Sehun: We'll use the back door in the kitchen come on
Without hesitation you jolted up following Sehun as he leaded the way. Suddenly you felt off about the idea, and then it hit you "there is no back door" You stopped mid way, already in the dining room as Sehun looked at you confused
Sehun: What's wrong? Don't you want to get out?
Y/n: Sehun how will we get out?
Sehun: We'll use the back door, hurry up the demon might get us anytime soon!
You took a step back gulping as Sehun took one front
Y/n: W-who are you, what have you done with Sehun
Sehun: *smirk* stop being childish Y/n, can't you see its me?
Y/n: Stay away from me
Sehun: Y/n stop it
Y/n: NO GET AWAY!!!
Suddenly Sehun started coughing out blood
Y/n: OH MY GOD SEHUN!!
Sehun: Y/n, RUN!!!!
Blood splashed on your face as Sehun grabbed a knife and stabbed himself, you were in shock as he fell to the ground
Sehun: it's been nice knowing y-you
His body turned grey as mist from his mouth exited creating a mass, a figure more despicable than the insides of oneself.
Manah: Nothing gets by you does it?
You didn't look back before sprinting to the main exit "no this can't be happening" but not successful in reaching anywhere close as you tripped over the broken furniture. Your body hurt, like a million splinters piercing into your bones and flesh
Manah: Pathetic
You looked into the demon's eyes
Y/n: What have I ever done to YOU?!!!
Manah: It's not what you did, but what he did to me. In all the eons there finally came a human soul that could harm demons, do you think I would let something like that live? Since I cannot destroy a spirit I will just have to destroy it's happiness
He got ready to strike his claw as you shut your eyes tight "it's all over" You screamed but couldn't feel pain
Manah: What the- YOU!!
V: Y/n are you alright?
You couldn't believe the voice, opening your eyes you met with a boy. It was V, but different. Very different from before, there were no scars and blood on him; he looked normal and as a matter of fact the most handsome man you've ever seen. His smile caused you to smile before hugging him tight, crying like anything while squeezing his form
Y/n: Oh V I've missed you!! I love you, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
Manah: NO! IMPOSSIBLE!! I banished you!!!
V: You jealous demon, you could never get rid of me even if you wanted to
Y/n: V be careful
V: Don't worry, I'm here now. Everything's going to be alright
Manah: Not if I do something first!
The demon attacked but V was quick to get you out, both of you ran out of the house and onto the street as The demon quickly followed
Manah: Fools! Don't think you're safe in the open, I'm going to kill you all!!
V pushed you ahead as he ran and punched the demon right in the face
V: Not on my watch. Y/n you need to destroy the cursed object!! DESTROY THE VESSEL!!! It's the object that was possessed! HUR-
The demon grabbed V by the neck cutting him off
Y/n: V!!!!!
V: R- r-un-n y-you h-ave-ve t-o r-u-un
Y/n: N-no! I won't leave you!!
V: Y/N YOU HAVE TO GO!!! I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF!! RUN AND DESTROY THE DOLL!!!!!
You were reluctant to listen but did as you were told, you ran and kept on running not looking back. You came across a church, and old abandoned church and hastily went inside. Looking around like an insane person you searched for anything to destroy the doll then it struck "I need a fire" You searched around but it was useless, there was nothing to light. Suddenly the painted glass broke as a creature along with a brightly coloured hair boy dashed in causing you to fall back.
Manah: Foolish child!
The demon opened its mouth and you realised what was going to happen, without thinking twice you threw the doll right towards his throat. Flames engulfed and tore through the light fabric and cotton
Manah: FOOL!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!!?!!!
An explosion of smoke and ashes covered the hall, V covered you before the burning particles hit your skin. Soon everything was silent, V parted as the light of dawn soothed your eyes. You looked at V who had a relieved smile
V: It's over Y/n, it's over
Y/n: Oh V thank you for coming back, I knew you would never leave me
V: no, thank you. Because of you I am at peace
Y/n: What do you mean?
V: It's true my soul wasn't at peace after my tragedy, Aka-manah sensed that and he became jealous because I was the only soul who couldn't be harmed by a demon. He wanted to take control of me and many times he did, thus exorcism was used to contain the evil. I was trapped in the doll with the demon for years and we both had continuous battles. But then I met you, you reminded me a lot of my previous love and thus I couldn't help myself to fall for you, being with you slowly healed me allowing me to get rid of Manah but then he decided to come at me with full strength.
Y/n: When did he come back?
V: my emotions were related so my jealousy had made him stronger. I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. I couldn't protect you
Y/n: Forget everything. We can start over, we can finally be together
V: *smiles* I'll always love you, please forgive me
The rays of the sun shimmered on V's skin as he slowly started to glow
V: My purpose in this world is over, I finally have peace
Y/n: W-wha- n-n-no y-you can't!
V: I'm sorry Y/n, I'm not supposed to be here
Tears started rolling down your eyes as V slowly started to fade
Y/n: Please don't do this, I love you don't leave me
He came closer until your forehead rested on his lips, he kissed your forehead gently before wiping your tears with his thumb
V: I will always be with you, I will be watching over you always. Maybe from afar but I will, always
Y/n: N-no who will tell me what to do? Who will stop me when I do something stupid?? Who will wipe my tears and listen to my rants??? Answer me!
V: You're a big girl now Y/n, you don't need me to tell you things anymore
Slowly his edges started to become particles that faded away into the light
Y/n: I'll never forget you
V: *realises something* Or maybe we won't be that far away
Before disappearing completely you hugged one last time. He was gone, they were gone, you were all alone, just like before "we won't be that far away"
