I’m uncertain of the time or place,
The distance it takes or the matter of space,
But the underline truth that seems to be,
Is that no matter how much I doubt,
I am still me, existing and somewhat free.

Sorry to the Mind,
Who keeps thriving despite the ugly thoughts that breed within it.
Sorry to the Heart,
Who keeps beating despite the aches that I shove inside it.
And sorry to the Self,
Who I place before a mirror of doubts,
And judge with a fickle oculus who falsely accuses itself.

If one were to be in love the idea of love,
But not have known to decipher the true meaning,
What would that make of the one who was in love,
With the one who never possessed a single thought that went beyond that of admiring?

Society is quirky in the way it runs.
For it's the people it claims to know,
Saying I have a name and face,
Yet never seems to truly think I should fit in such a place.
