She holds her purpose above her head
She screams her reasons into the street
She stands not alone, but instead
A million others scream with her.
For the same reason.
They grew from a huddle,
Into an army
An army with a purpose,
as well as a journey.
But, she thinks to herself;
Why must I still do this?
Why can't they see?
God made us all equally,
but, say,
Politicians can take this gift,
away.
