Liam's POV*
The sound of Niall screaming girlishly woke me up and I rolled over unhooking Emily's arm from my waist and headed towards the source of the noise.
"Niall, what are you doing mate?", I said, my voice full of sleep and my movements were sluggish.
"I wanted pancakes but erm, well they didn't go as well as I had planned", he told me innocently and my eyes drifted towards the pile of black stodge in the frying pan in front of him and I laughed at his awful cooking.
"Move", I said through my chuckles and he stepped backwards out of the way. I picked up the frying pan and emptied the disgusting substance into the bin before making the mixture again using the right ingredients and pouring it into the hot pan. Niall was looking at me with amazement clear on his face. I made pancakes for everybody and took Emily's plate to the bed where she was only just waking up.
"Why was Niall screaming?", she questions, putting a mouthful of pancake into her mouth.
"He tried cooking", was all I said and she gave an understanding nod.
When Emily had finished eating we went out and joined the others who were all sitting round the breakfast bar in the middle of the kitchen. Harry had his head on the worktop and his eyes were shut, with Louis drawing a variety of facial hair on his face in a biro. Eleanor scolded him but couldn't help laughing and Niall had a mouthful of food. Zayn was also laughing, he had his phone in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other. Emily headed to the toilet before sitting on a bar stool next to us with an angry look on her face as she claimed that the babies were kicking each other.
Harry woke up and went mental when he saw what a state Louis had made him and chased him around the house with a biro, we all watched intently as they charged outside before bursting into laughter. When they returned Louis had multiple lines drawn across his face and his middle finger stuck up at Harry who had a satisfied grin on his face.
Emily went into our bedroom for the week to get changed and came back out a while later wearing denim shorts and a light pink top with a faint pattern on it. It was definitely the warmest summer we had had in a few years and we planned on making the most of it. As soon as the sun was on the garden we all headed outside in shorts and t-shirts and started tanning ourselves. Emily and Eleanor were deep in conversation and me and the boys were just relaxing and talking, with Zayn asleep on a sunbed. Louis, Harry, Niall and myself got up and headed over to the shed at the end of the garden and pulled out a water pistol each. We filled them up in the pool and surrounded Zayn. Louis counted to three before we blasted him with water, making his jump so much that he rolled over and fell onto the grass. The girls both grabbed their towels and put them over their heads to prevent their hair from getting wet and squealed as we sprayed their legs with water. Emily got up and ran inside to hide from us and Eleanor joined her. Zayn had now found himself a water pistol and we were now all attacking each other, laughing hysterically. This is what I loved, spending time with the boys and Emily and Eleanor, just having fun.
