Chapter 4
The Entrance
When Carly woke up she didn't wake Carter she reaced into her suitcase and pulled out a notebook. Then she wrote all shhe could think to write:
Today was crazy I found out that magical creatures exist I found some pantings that have moving magical creatures in it mr.Sorenson told me there is a secret cave somewhere and I have to find it I will write everyday I am here and hopefully fill this 50 page notebook. The second book I writw will have animals and all I know about them. Thats all for now Byeeeeeeeee.
She then grabbed another notebook and wrote:

The is currently my favorite magical animal and the first i have seen in pictures it has a red ruby on its head and is awesome.
Then she put it away and woke Carter up. It was 7:15 then so they got into thier closets for something to do. Carly grabbed a box of clothes and was trying on new outfits while Carter was playing minecraft on his ipod.
At 8:00 exactly Mr.Sorenson came in and said "get ready for church we are leaving in 15 minutes" and rushed out the door. Immediately, Carly and Carter scrambled to get the big door in thier room shut they managed to get ready in 20 minutes and ran downstairs.
When Mr.Sorenson saw them he laughed and explained " we are leaving at 9:00 I just wanted to get you ready early."
Mr.Sorenson sat down and stared their dull outfits."O.K here is what we will do I am gonna make waffles but you both need to dress in nicer clothes and take showers. Then you can eat and you can brush your teeth and we will be on our way." Mr. Sorenson then just smiled as he watched them obey.
After eating and brushing their teeth everybody was ready besides Carter who was running around the house looking for something. Carly started to get annoyed when he went upstairs for the fifth time.
When he came back down Carly asked "what did you lose?"
Carter made a sour face as he said "My Ipod"
At the same time right after Carter was done talking Carly remarked "again!" and Mr.Sorenson said "We better get going our well be late."
Mr.Sorenson walked to the car and Carter and Carly followed leaving the door unlocked Carly took notice, but she didnt want to say anything.
When they arrived at church they were 25 minutes early and when Carter went to sit down Mr.Sorenson grabbed me by the arm and twisted me so i faced a small burly man.
The man whispered " Hello I'm Mr. Jordahno but you can call me Mr. J and my understanding is that you found out about magical creatures today but saw one yesterday."
Carly nodded saying "correct Mr. J, and is it bad to ..... uh you know, like know."
Mr. J looked confused but responded "it is bad since you have to pick a team in 10 days, and it usually takes people 5 weeks to pick a team or decide to make one which is a terrible plan but very often chosen for reasons you will find out later. And yes you have to pick a team."
Carly was happy for some reason and she squealed so a few people glanced but she calmed down and said "What are these teams you talk about?"
Mr.J handed her a paper and walked away saying "I got to go" over and over which realy surprised Carly but she looked at the folded paper and unfolded it it was huge so she folded it back up to read it when she got home.
The church started with some songs and it was like a rock concert with the drums and electric guitars so loud. So when Carly went to the bathroom, her whole body shivering she alked away and a folded piece of paper fell from her pocket. Carter looked at it and with a huge smirk on his face he stuck it in his pocket thinking it was a diary page.
when church was over The trio walked to the car still vibrating from the band. The whole ride home Carly never thought about the paper she could only think about when she would stop hearing that super loud ringing noise in her ear.
When they got home Carly jumped out of the car and ran to the door knowing it was unlocked but when she pulled on the handle it was locked! Carly grunted thinking she just didnt see Mr.Sorenson lock it.
When she did get in she asked Mr. Sorenson "Mr.Sorenson could you please show me where the secret portal hides?"
With a smile Mr. Sorenson said "Depends, is your brother a nature guy?"
Carly shrugged as Mr.Sorenson went upstairs and before taking the first step said "stay".
Carly waited and when Mr.Sorenson came back downstairs he had his shoes on and motioned for Carly to go out the back door.
Carter reached into his pocket and read the piece of paper and read:

Heleans are for the destruction of magical animals. This group is deadly and kills members of certain tribes ecspecialy the Heroics.
Heroics: 17 ranked#1
The Heroics are for peace with the magical animals. They want magical animals to be our pals that help us instead of hinder. They train magical animals. And if you chose this path beware of Heleans.
Greenlers: 14 ranked#4
The Greenlers are a normal group they like things just the way they are. This was the first group ever made and its members are mostly elders. Because of this The Greenlers is by far the smartest group.
protectors: 3 ranked#5
This group lives up to every thing but its name. They are all about individual activities.They are the only restricted group and will kill members who betray or leave. This is a very secretive group, and if they werent thier rank would probaly go up for reasons not stated.
Gillians: 2 ranked#3
The Gillians are all about power it was great enemies with a group they broke out in war with war in 1998 the Tuskians which is similiar to the newer group Tirspital. This broke down thier numbers greatly which brought them down from thier first poosition to third.
Himbuskians:1 ranked#6
This guy lives in Greenland and is about letting the secret out about magical animals and letting them live in Greenland as well as thier world.
Tribaries: 1 ranked#7
This is the newest tribe or should I say guy who is about the tribes all mixing together and gaining power to live letting people slowly find out about magical animals.
Rituals: 1 ranked#8
This guy is about teaching magical animals our languages learning thier languages and combine our worlds. Some people call him mad and some think it could happen but dont want to try.
Tirspital: 1 ranked#9
This group has no meaning it is a guy hoping to be a group of loyalty for the magical animals.
Carter thought it was junk amd left it on the floor by Carlys bed. And wondered why would Carly want to walk with Mr.Sorenson. He all of sudden peiced it together and was a little upset. Carly was being a kissup to Mr.Sorenson and now she was probaly gonna get special treatment.
Carly and Mr.Sorenson walked up to a tree and Mr. Sorenson sai were here. Carly looked around and saw nothing.
Then Mr.Sorenson stuck his hand in a hole in the tree trunk and the tree split in two revealing a hole ore as Mr. Sorenson called it "The Magnificent Cave" and Carly laughed.
Mr. Sorenson then said we better get going back or Carter will get suspicious.
