The Start of It All
It’s a sunny morning and all that I can hear is doors shutting and suit cases being tossed down the stairs. Today is my summer vacation. The one my family and I take every year at the end of summer before school starts. We are taking a trip to the Bahamas on an enormous cruise ship. I’m extremely thrilled for what I know that this vacation will turn my summer into the best summer ever.
I wake up and get all my stuff ready so my dad can shove it in the car. Then get myself ready for the excurtiating car ride to the dock in Miami. I live in the suburbs of Pembroke Pines which was only 1 hour away but down here during the summer it gets up to 100 degrees so I don’t like the car rides.
Before I ever leave I must say goodbye to my cat Misty who will be staying behind like always. She is brown with black stripes and has a fluffy tail. Then I hop into the car with my earphones plugged into my ears and my phone in my hand with my older brother Brandon and his girlfriend Mio. They’ve been dating for a few month and Mio and I get along very well but my brother and I, our story is pretty funny.
