Noah's p.o.v
All I could remember about my father were the words my mother used to describe him as. Handsome, tall, curly haired, and a deep love for rock music.
I was sure from the beginning that I was just like him. My mother had gotten his name on her wrist at the age of 15. And from then on she looked and looked until she found him and instantly fell in love.
I guess you could say it was "love at first sight" but I don't believe in that. To me, my father is a dead beat missing ass who left my mother broken hearted. I haven't seen her smile. Ever. He never met me though. Im 17 now and i've dealt with life without a father figure around so I'm sure I wont need him anytime soon.
I got her name on my ankle at the age of 13. I refused to look so I always wore combat boots to cover it up and put black ink over it since it was so dark and in bold letters. Im not really what society refers to a "ladies man." I'm a nervous reck when I even get to a girl. I cant manage to speak, or even stand right. And now i've forgotten all about it. To me it doesn't exist. I will never know the name of the one destined to be the love of my life. Or so i thought.
