Ryker's pov-
Today was the day of the pack meeting that my beta has arranged. I have no idea what it is all about but to be honest i don't really care because he said it was for me and that it was necessary. But i guess i will just find out later.
*2 hours later*
Currently i am walking to the meeting room and i am struggling to fix my tie. As i am walking i bump into Emma my betas mate as i glare at her she looks at me with a scared expression. "Fix my tie and i might just let you off with only a warning" i say harshly she wraps her small fingers around my tie and starts tk straighten it up once she finishes she mumbled a sorry and practically ran into the meeting room.
I sigh annoyed and walk in after a moment. As soon as i walk in everyone becomes silent and look at me. "Well Cole why have you called this meeting?" I ask my beta as i take a seat at the head of the table and stare at him with a blank expression. "I have called this meeting because it is time that you take on some responsibility as alpha and find a Luna for this pack" he states looking nervously at the papers sat in front of him. "What did you just say?" I ask him in an angry voice "i said tha-" "I KNOW WHAT YOU SAID COLE!!!" he started but i cut him off angrily "look just calm down i as you're beta and bestfriend am just saying that it is time that you get a mate, you know that it is necessary and we need a Luna after all this time. It is time that you stop sulking about Violets death and start looking for a new Mate, you aren't the only one that was affected by her death we all were. I unders-" "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT YOU UNDERSTAND COLE. ONCE YOU LOSE EMMA TO A ROUGE ATTACK YOU CAN TELL ME THAT YOU UNDERSTAND BUT DON'T YOU EVER SAY IT TILL THEN!!!" I stormed out after i freaked out on Cole honestly i felt kinda bad for yelling at him like that but he doesn't know what it is like to lose his mate. But on the other hand i know that he is right i do need to find a know mate this pack needs it and not only them but i do too after Violets death i pushed everyone away from me and put up my barriers so nothing could get in and nothing could get out. After laying in bed for about 7 hours i had made my mind up i was going to give this pack a new Luna and myself a new mate. I was determined to.
Sorry if it's a bit short guys but this is all i can come up with. Please don't hate on me if it's not the best this is my first story and i will try my best to satisfy you guys with this story. Let me know if you have any ideas for the next chapter. I will try to update before the 19th.
