"Chunji hyung, Changjo said he will be absent today. I think he caught a cold."
Ricky informed right in the morning.
"It's just the second day and he's already sick?"
Niel asked.
"Can't help it, this year's quite cold compared to before."
L.Joe hugged himself.
"Hey Chunji, I heard your parents came home yesterday night."
CAP asked.
It made me feel annoyed just by the word parents.
"Yeah. Good thing they left early this morning."
I uninterestedly answered.
I don't have a good relationship with my parents.
Only child, my ass. They don't even know me. Only grandpa is my family. Teen top is more of a family to me than those two.
"Have you thought about the newbie? Let's get him on our team."
Ricky once again started.
"No, my answer is still no."
"Are you sure? Because based on what Changjo heard, EXO-M is planning to get him as well."
What? EXO-M?

XIUMIN
I'm early today.
I had a great breakfast.
Grandma, my neighbor brought me a breakfast this morning.
I was planning to have a ramen-only but she prepared me a complete breakfast.
Since I came in early, only a few students occupied the room.
Math.
What a great day starter.
The once peaceful room now filled with noise from the students coming in.
My seatmates, well EXO-M and Teen top, are still not here.
The teacher started the lesson already.
"I just hope they won't come in class today."
I whispered to myself.
"What is it, Xiumin?"
The teacher, who was now in front of me, asked.
"Oh...it's nothing sir."
I scratched my nape feeling embarrassed.

My wishes never get granted.
"I came in first!"
Kris said glaring at the other guy at the entrance.
"My foot stepped in first!"
CAP retorted.
"Cut it! Come in and take your seats."
The teacher strictly ordered.
The two leaders glared at each other before entering. The others followed.
"Where's Changjo?"
"He's sick."
Chunji answered bored.
"I know this is the 2nd day of school but I want to see and check what you guys know. Let's have a quiz now."
The teacher exclaimed making everyone groaned in annoyance.
"Fuck it, I don't even remember anything from last year."
I heard Tao complain to Kris.
"That's how stupid you are, panda."
L.joe smirked at his back.
"Sshh! Silence. Solve these 3 problems on the board. You have 15 minutes to finish it."
The teacher, who seemed to be lazy to teach today, instructed.
A minute after, the class became silent.
Everyone trying to solve the problems before the time.
The teacher? Oh, I see him dozing off on his desk in front.
Tsk, what a lazy ass.
5 minutes have passed. I'm done with the quiz I'm just reviewing my answers.
A few seconds after, I felt a paper thrown to my face.
What the hell?!
I picked the paper and read the note.
Give me your answer for number 3!
I looked around. Damn!
Chunji looked at me, motioning to show my paper.
I didn't move at first but he glared at me.
He looked at the sleeping teacher then quickly snatched my paper.
"Wait..."
I whisper-shouted.
He didn't even bother answering me. He just compared and continue copying my answers.
I sighed and sat properly.
LUHAN
I'm almost done with the quiz when I turned to my right and saw Chunji throw a piece of paper to Baozi.
"Fuck."
I muttered under my breath.
I got to see what's written on the paper.
What the fuck? That stupid Chunji is asking for number 3 answer? That's the easiest among the three.
And I'm not praising that jerk but he's good at math.
What's he planning?
So you wanna get this hamster this way, huh?
I checked if the teacher is still sleeping.
I finished my paper.
The nerdy kid had his eyes closed while his hand is placed on his chin. Dozing off as well, I guess.
I slightly kicked his chair.
No avail.
I kicked harder.
"What the-"
I threw my paper to him which he quickly caught.
He looked at me confused.
"What?"
I asked arrogantly in a whisper.
"What?"
He asked me back.
"What are you waiting for? Check my answers."
I ordered putting my hands in my pants' pockets.
I saw Chunji looking at us. I smirked.
After a minute...
"Uhm...h-hey..."
I hear the hamster call me in a whisper.
I looked at him. He pointed to number 3.
"Oh, number 3? Finish it for me. I don't know how to solve it."
I whispered back.
Chunji snickered.
We gotta play the game fair.
I saw nerdy newbie started writing on my paper.
My smirk grew wider as Chunji crumpled another paper and threw it to the newbie.
The newbie, what's his name again? Xiumin?
Xiumin stopped writing and took the paper.
I snickered when I saw his quiz paper all crumpled, the one Chunji threw.
Xiumin pouted and tried fixing his paper again.
I kicked his chair again.
I motioned my hand and he gave me my paper.
Just as expected, he got the correct answer.
He has a beautiful handwriting even with numbers.
I smiled.
"So you want him in now?"
Kris asks from the back in a whisper.
"What?"
I looked back at him and he just smirked.
"Fuck you."
I cursed him with my middle finger raising towards him.

(Lunch time...)
XIUMIN
I came out last from our room since I finished my notes while the others seemed not to care taking notes.
I entered the now full canteen.
I ordered my lunch and looked around for a seat.
"Hey! Hey!"
I turned to my left and saw this good-looking guy.
He waves his hand motioning me to go closer.
"Hi?"
"You a new kid, right? I'm Kiseop. Sit with me here."
"Thank you. Yes, I'm new here. Xiumin, btw."
We continued talking and getting to know each other more.
Kiseop is the same age as me. He's from another class. He's nice and smart.
He said he has a group name Ukiss but the others are in different schools.

CHUNJI
"Isn't that the newbie?"
L.joe pointed somewhere in the canteen.
I followed where's he's pointing and saw Xiumin with another guy.
"I think he's with Kiseop." – Ricky
"Kiseop from Ukiss?" – CAP
"Yeah. Nothing to worry about. Ukiss doesn't recruit new members since they got a new one last month." – Niel
That's right. Nothing to worry about.
But I feel goddam mad looking at the two laughing together.
"What the fuck?!"
I cursed quietly.
What the fuck are they laughing about? Why do they look happy?
I turned my eyes to a different direction. Unfortunately, my eyes went to Luhan's table.
I noticed they're looking somewhere.
I followed where they're looking at and my eyes landed once again to the newbie and Kiseop.
Shit!
"Let's get him in."
I announced to the group.
"What?"
They all asked in unison looking at me.
"Get Xiumin in our group."

So Chunji finally deciding to get Xiumin in teen top.
