The rest of the day continued in silence.
This was nothing new.
During the restless and chatter-filled lectures that followed,
all he did was jot down the notes he was able to hear.
He didn't talk to anyone.
He didn't speak a single word.
He was completely quiet.
No one approached him.
After all, they already knew it was pointless.
Aside for a few wary glances and murmurs, they left him alone by himself.
This, also, was nothing new.
"... What a lonesome existence."
After classes he quietly headed outside.
Then, he started walking.
