Harry's POV
I look down at Lacey's small face. I could see that she has been crying for hours because of how her eyes were puffed up. I cup her small face in my hands, and look straight at her.
"Lacey what's wrong? What happened?" I whispered.
She shakes her head, "H-he died," she says, barely audible.
"Who died?"
"My brother, he was in the Navy. He has been in there for over 2 years. My dad just got that call," She buries her face in my chest.
I wrap my arms tightly around her, "I'm so sorry Lacey. Would you like to stay with me tonight?" I ask her.
She nods, wiping her eyes. I bend down slightly, pulling her up bridal styles in my arms. She's so fragile she doesn't deserve this.
I carry her to my apartment, kicking the door close. I walk into my room and gently lay her into the bed. She is still wearing her jeans from earlier. I walk over to my drawer and pull out a white shirt of mine.
"Would you like to wear this?" I ask her, looking for approval.
She nods, slowly pulling herself up. I slowly lift the shirt up over her head, replacing it with my shirt. I pull off her jeans, and fold then putting them on my dresser.
I pull a blanket up over her, placing a swift kiss on her forehead. I pull my shirt over my head and put on a pair of grey sweatpants.
I walk over to the bed and lay down. I put my arms around her waist and pull her back to my front. She feels so small in my arms. I've never actually cuddled with any other girl in my life. This actually is a good feeling.
I kiss the back of her head, and eventually fall into a deep slumber.
