I walk down the street listening to August Alsina on my way to school. August is bae and everybody knows it. Ask anybody! I got all his posters, c.d's, jewlrey, clothes, everything you could think of. I may be obsessed but oh well.
As I continue on down the street I finally make it to school. I take off my earphones and put them in my bag along with my phone.
Today is the first day back from Winter break and I couldnt be more happy! Im.ready to get this year over with. Im a senior and Im ready to go.
I walk inside and smile at all the basic bitches who smile, wave, and say hi to me. I guess you could say Im really popular at school but It's mainly because of my brother, James. He use to go here before he graduated and he was hella popular. He played all the sports, got all the girls, and got good grades.
Everybody here at this school assumes I live the perfect life and Im just as perfect as Beyonce. When in reality, nobody's perfect.
I have trust issues, I dont love myself as much as I should, I care too much, I get scared, I have the flaws a lot of people have… and It sucks having to put on a show for people. - But you got to do what you got to do, right?
I walk more down the hall and as expected Darius Woods approaches me. Darius is the definition of a man whore. All he wants from a girl is sex and brain - That's it. He's been trying to get at my bestfriend Justice since 9th grade but she aint havin' it. He is a man whore! Darius is like my brother so trust me I would know. But lately I have been seeing some change in him.
darius: Wassup big head?
zaniyah: Your head is bigger than mine but hey
darius: Ight so I need to ask you something
zaniyah: Wassup?
darius: So as you know I really like Justice
zaniyah: No you dont youve just been tryna get in her pants since you laid eyes on her
darius: Nah Zaniyah you dont understand. It was like that before but It's different now. Ever since junior year I get this wierd feeling around her.
I look up at Darius as he rubs the back of his neck.
darius: Nevermind I should have never said anything I knew nobody would understand
He starts to walk away but then turns back around.
darius: Dont tell anybody
zaniyah: Darius wait
He turns around and I walk up to him.
zaniyah: I can help you but youve got to be serious about this. It's going to take a lot to show her how much you like her. All she see's you as is a player.
darius: I know and Im trying to change. I swear I am man. My dad showed me how all these girls honestly dont matter. He explained to me that all I need is one, one good girl.
I nod my head and pinch Darius's cheecks.
zaniyah: Awww Darius
Darius swats my hands off him.
darius: Stop this dont mean Im a punk I just want to have a girl
zaniyah: Alright Ill help you
Darius smiles and hugs me.
darius: Thanks
zaniyah: See ya later
When I get to my first period class - English I sit down in my assigned seat next to my two bestfriends Justice and Bria.
bria: Hey sexy
justice: Hey boo
zaniyah: Why hello beautiful ladies
We giggle and continue on with a conversation as we wait for our teacher.
bria: So I have something important to tell you two
justice: what?
zaniyah: Oh jesus your pregos?
bria: No
I sigh of relief and look at her.
zaniyah: Then what?
bria: Me and Dylan have been together for the past two months
justice: What?!
My eyes get wide as I think about it. I havent seen Dylan with a girl in a while now that I think about it. Dylan is Darius bestfriend since Pre-K.
bria: I didnt want to tell you guys unless it got serious but now we are serious. We told eachother we loved one another.
justice: Eww
zaniyah: Awww
bria: Dont be a hater Justice
zaniyah: Im so happy for you Bri
Bria smiles and says thankyou.
justice: I cant believe you love somebody other than your self. Ew, ew, ew, ew, ewwwww!
Bria smiles at Justice.
bria: You love somebody and you dont even know it
justice: Who?
bria: *Cough* Darius
Justice immediately blushes and I smile.
zaniyah: Justice you like Darius dont you?
justice: I think he's cute I guess
Me and Bria squel loudly.
justice: Shutup because I use to hate him
bria: And now you love him
justice: Never all of that I just think he's cute. I would never be with a guy like that. Just to get cheated on? No thanks.
zaniyah: Some people change
justice: Yeah keyword some people, not all
zaniyah: He's changing though. Trust me - I see it in him.
Justice blushes a little more and bites her lip.
Finally it's Lunch. Ive been waiting for lunch literally since yesterday at lunch. That sounds fat but oh well a girl be hungry. I get my food and sit down at the table with Justice, Bria, and Dylan all hugged up kissing and all.
I sit down smiling.
zaniyah: So it's offical?
bria: Offical like the whistle
Dylan smiles and kisses Bria on the back of her neck.
zaniyah: Awww
justice: Gross
Bria rolls her eyes and sticks her tounge out at Justice.
dylan: Wassup Zaniyah
zaniyah: Not much, you?
dylan: Happy
I smile.
zaniyah: You better treat her right or we fightin
dylan: You aint got to worry this is my queen
Dylan squeezes her hand tighter.
I smiles.
justice: Zaniyah have you seen that fine new boy yet?
bria: Gurl you need to holla
zaniyah: Yall childish and no
justice: Oh I dont know his name, I forgot. But he's cute.
dylan: Yall talking about Damon? Me, him, and Darius go way back we went to middle school and elementary together. He left and came back so he could graduate with us.
bria: Oh that's the guy you were telling me about that you missed? and Darius said he would look good with Zaniyah?
Dylan nods his head.
bria: He is cute though Zaniyah
zaniyah: Im not looking for a relationship.right now. Im just letting things play out.
justice: Well let things play out with him
Bria nods.
dylan: He's a good guy Zaniyah. I wouldnt lie to you. He's not like how me and Darius use to be.
justice: Man whores?
dylan: I dont perfer that word, we were explorers.
Justice rolls her eyes.
Bria giggles at Justice and Dylans little argument.
I finish my food and throw it in the trash across the lunch room making it directly in the trash.
darius: Ooooooooh that's what Im talkin about sis!
Darius yells from across the room making the whole lunch room look at him. He smiles at them and makes his way to.our table with who Im assuming to be Damon. Oh he is cute.
