Community Service|Prologue
Had I known that Ross Alderman was actually a chemistry nerd who had a penchant for being a slight pyromaniac, I don't think I would be sweltering in the sun, picking up trash off the sidewalk, and having thirty community services hours on my permanent record.
Thirty hours. Of community service. For obstruction of school property. Any dreams I had ever once had of going to college, even community college for Christ's sake, were excuse my humor, blown up, after Ross decided to cause an explosion in AP Chemistry. Sure, that class sucked to begin with, but it wasn't any better once he and I were suddenly labeled as juvenile delinquents.
The worst part of it, though, is that he and I are going to be stuck together for thirty hours. No, it isn't the fact that I'm now a hardened criminal or that I nearly got my face blown off that's bothering me. It's him.
