I was born in the month of May.
2) What is your favorite colour?
My favourite colour is teal J
3) If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would travel to Egypt because it looks so beautiful when it’s shown on television and stuff like that. Also, it’s always been a dream of mine to go and see the pyramids.
4) If you could meet any writer, who would it be? [Professionals who have their books published i.e J.K Rowling]
If I could meet any writer, I would want to meet Nicholas Sparks because whenever I read his stores I always start crying. No other writer has made me cry while reading a story so I give props to him for that! I also love how he writes about issues that hit home for me like cancer so it makes it a lot more enjoyable in my opinion.
5) What nationality are you? [Optional]
I am a British Bangladeshi.
6) What are your top ten random things about you?
I always check the fridge at home when I’m bored, I sing random lyrics to fill silence, I have always tried to burp the whole alphabet but I just can’t. It’s too hard for me, I have 5 other siblings, I have to travel on public transport every day, I write stories when I’m bored, I have a Youtube account which I don’t use, I gave up using Formspring and now I have millions of unanswered questions in my inbox, I have lots of useless accounts under my name which I doubt I will ever use in my life, I spend way too much on Wattpad and up till this day, I have never revise for an exam :P (I think that’s ten things!)
~About your writing life~
1) At what age do you think writing started to appeal you?
I think writing started to appeal to me when I started secondary school because it was a bit of a pass time for me but of course I didn’t let anyone read my work because I thought it was rubbish. Only now have I started to let people read my work and that’s only on Wattpad.
2) What made you want to start writing?
What made me want to start writing was my friends endlessly persuading me into get out of my Facebook habit and spend my time having a hobby that will actually help me later on and so, after a very long, I sat down and I wrote something and I was happy with the result and so that gave me the confidence to carry on writing. You could say that my friends were the cause of me joining Wattpad and writing stories J
3) What are you favorite genres to write? Why?
My favourite genres to write would have to be romance and humour because I find that to be something quite difficult to grasp at first and then when you get into it, it starts to become a lot easier. I also love how you can turn a simple conversation between two people into something more so it’s really exciting for me to be able to do that.
4) What is your main goal you want to achieve on Wattpad? How do you plan to accomplish it?
My main goal that I would like to achieve on Wattpad is not be number one on the What’s Hot list because frankly I think the whole idea behind that list is stupid. Also, if I ever did get onto the What’s Hot list it would be short lived as I don’t upload every three days like most writers do. I take longer to write a chapter that is to the best of my ability. Personally, I would really love it if one of my stories reached 100,000 reads because then that would be a clear sign to me that my readers actually like my story rather than being forced to read it. Right now, all I can do is keep advertising my stories on “Share your story club” in the hopes that some readers would tell their fans and then they would tell their fans and so on but that would be my ultimate goal right now.
5) Is writing a vital [important] part of your life? If so how?
No, I wouldn’t say that writing is a vital part of my life. I would say that it is more of a past-time and because I enjoy writing, there is a better chance that I would feel happy with anything that I do write but I would not say that writing takes up a part of my life. I’m more of a reading person than writing so if you asked me if reading is a vital part of my life, then I would say yes straight away because I like all genres and that helps me in English Literature and Language in school.
6) How does writing influence your life? If it does, what role does it play in it?
Writing influences my life as it helps me to basically brush on my English skills. Ever since joining Wattpad, I have actually learnt a lot on how to improve my stories and now I’m a lot more confident at it. Because of this, I’m getting better at English and I’m really happy with my grades so far J
7) What is your guilty pleasure in writing? {Optional} [i.e. R-rated etc.]
My guilty pleasure in writing would have to b teacher/student stories because although I would freak out if it happened to me in real life, there’s just something about them that makes them addictive and now my library is just full of them!
8) Where do you write your stories? And when is your best time to do so?
I write my stories sometimes in school at lunchtime when I’m bored and have a laptop near me or at home after school where it is quiet. Most of the time, I tend to start it in school and then once I come home, I’d finish the chapter that I was writing before. Once I’m done writing the chapter, I’d then quickly check over it for any mistakes and then upload it on Wattpad. I have my own editor who helps me with checking for spelling errors and all that so at the end of the day, it’s mistake free.
Your reading rituals
1) What is your favorite type of stories to read? [Genres]
I like reading romance, humour, adventure, paranormal, thriller, short stories and sometimes werewolf stories. Wow, now that I look back at that, it’s a lot!
2) When do you normally read? And also, where do you read? [i.e. mobile sites {iPod, Samsung etc.}, or internet sites]
I normally read before I go to sleep, on my way to school and on my way home from school. I use the Wattpad app on my phone to read and sometimes I use the actual internet site but I get bored just sitting on my laptop and reading so I prefer on my phone so I can walk and read etc.
3) Who are your top 5 favorite authors on Wattpad? [You can exceed 5 if needed]
My favourite authors on Wattpad would have to be Kirsty1000, imperfectdreamer, makemesmiledammit, amichell11231, renesmee09, Whiterabbit17, MyLovelyWriter, leigh_, Isabelle88, DimitraSky, Silent_Innoence and a_colouful_dreamer. (There’s a lot more but if you get me started then I would never stop!)
4) Who’s writing inspires you? [Both professional and Wattpaders.]
The author who inspires me the most would have to be Michael Morpurgo because he takes the most simplest relationship between a character and maybe an animal and turn it into something beautiful so that’s always been something that I would love to do but I can’t do it as well as he does. On Wattpad, I would have to say that Kirsty1000’s stories inspire me because she’s just amazing! I love how likeable her characters are (especially Ashton; he’s my favourite!) and I also love how she can make a relationship grow between two people despite any problems that they may face during the story so she inspires me definitely. I also love how she writes even though she’s a mum because it just shows she’s doing what she loves!
5) What are your 5 favorite books on Wattpad? [Only 5 this time ;D]
My five favourite stories on Wattpad (although there are many more) are Nothing left to lose, Believe me I’m lying, The Last Dance, My life with the Walter Boys and Tame my Heart or else.

1) Who are your closest friends on Wattpad? [Optional]
I don’t really talk to a lot of people on Wattpad but I would say that the person that I talk to the most would be BeAfriadOfDark because whenever she sees me online, she always talks to me.
2) What is your favorite catch phrase/ thing to say?
My favourite thing I always say is “you’re kidding me?”- A very bad habit but it just slips out every time!
3) If you could wish for anything, what would it be?
If I could wish for anything, I would wish for people to see that every story they read is beautifully written and that there is no correct way of writing a story because at the end of the day, the author is the person who made that story and only they should be able to write it the way they want, not the way others want it to be.
4) What is your lucky number, animal, letter, or even day?
I don’t believe in luck but the number that seems to pop up the most in my life is the number 7, the animal would be maybe a cat, letter would have to be “N” because that’s the first letter of my name and my lucky day may be Friday but I don’t know. I’ve never noticed these things.
5) What books would you recommend to others?
I would recommend ‘The prince and His Slave’ by luckycharms because that is a beautifully written story and when I read it, I couldn’t put it down at any point because it was just that good. I would also recommend “Cupid’s granddaughter” by German Sam because she takes Greek Mythology to another level and that’s what makes this story so interesting!

One of the stories on my profile is called “Under the Influence” which is about a girl called Isabelle who is considered to be a ‘bad girl’ in her school and because her principal has had enough of her, she now has to follow Greg, the school nerd, around in the hopes that she learns a valuable lesson. As time passes, she gets closer to Greg which is something that she’s never allowed before and there’s something about Greg that he’s hiding and she thinks it’s her job to uncover the secret that made him the person he is today.
The other story that I have on my profile is “Falling for the Wrong People” which is about a girl called Ameera Chowdhury who is a young Muslim girl who is living in Dinajpur which is in Bangladesh. It’s about how, from a young age, she has known what is in store for her and it’s also about how, in the fruit farm that she works on, she can’t help but feel an attraction with her master. This story has the element of an arranged marriage however due to the fact that this is set in a completely different country with different attitudes towards the whole concept, in my opinion it is far from a cliché story.
