So here's the first chapter of the third book to my Peter Pan sequel. I hope you like it.
(Jessica's POV)
"Hurry up Jessica or you'll be late!" My mother Destiny called from downstairs.
"I'm coming mother!" I said as I quickly did one last look in the mirror and then quickly ran out of my room and down the stairs.
When I walked into the kitchen my mother smiled at me.
"Are you ready for your first day of high school?" She asked
"I'm a little nervous but also very excited. And I'm glad that Mallory is going to the same school as me, so at least I'll have a friend with me" I said and mother nodded.
"Well you better go wait for the bus, it will be here soon."
I nodded and gave my mother a hug before running out the door.
"Hey hey what's up girl" my friend Mallory said cheerfully as I came to where the bus stop was.
I smiled
"Oh just trying to get rid of the nervous sick feeling in my stomach" I joked making her laugh.
"Why are you so nervous? We're finally in highschool now, you should be jumping for joy and be full of energy like me!"
I rolled my eyes playfully at her and shook my head.
"Who knows we might even meet some cute sexy boys" Mallory chucked and wiggled her eye brows.
We both laughed and continued to talk until the bus came. We both sat in the back with some other kids who were also just going to be starting highschool. Once the bus got to the school me and Mallory went to go get our schedules.
"What class do you have first?" Mallory asked as she looked over her schedule.
"Gym....and then English" I sighed disappointingly, of course I would have gym first thing in the morning.
"Oh I have math and then foods" Mallory said sadly.
"Oh well, I'll see you at lunch" I said and she nodded
We both went our separate ways once the bell rang. When I got to the gym I sat down on the bleachers and then I saw one of the girls that was on the bus coming over to me, she's also just starting highschool. I believe her name was Chelsea
"Hey can I sit with you?" She asked and I smiled and nodded.
Their were at least twenty kids in the gym now. We played basketball and then I went to English class, it was so boring. Once the lunch bell rang I sighed in relief and quickly made my way to the cafeteria to meet up with Mallory.
Once I found Mallory we paid for our lunch and sat at one of the tables.
"Those boys keep looking at you Jessica" Mallory suddenly said as she looked behind me.
I looked over my shoulder and saw a group of boys sitting at another table and they were all looking at me blankly?
"Just ignore them Mallory" I said turning back to her.
After lunch the rest of the day flew by quickly and I was already back home.
"Hi sweetie, how was your first day of highschool?" My mom asked me with a smile as I walked into the kitchen.
"It was good." I said with a smile.
"That's good sweetie. I'm making your favorite supper tonight, Cheesy hamburger helper."
"Yes!" I said in excitement.
"But I need you to make a quick trip to the store to get the milk"
"Okay mom no problem" I said and my mom gave me the money for the milk and then I started my walk to the store.
Once I got to the store I quickly got the milk and paid for it and then I started walking back home, The sun was almost gone and stars started to come out. I heard a noise behind me and I quickly turned around and saw that group of boys from school. When they saw me turn around they all stopped and just looked at me.
"What the hell do you guys want!" I snapped.
The one up front of the group of boys pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket, he looked at it then back up at me and he smiled evilly.
"Yep she's the one he wants, get her boys!" He suddenly yelled and all the boys charged at me.
I screamed and quickly started running away from the boys. When I was only half way home I was completely out of breath and I had to rest before I pass out. I quickly went off into the ditch and into the forest, it was dark and scary but I knew it wouldn't be easy for those boys to find me, I could see them all arguing by the side walk under the street light.
"It's going to take us all night to find her, let's just do this the easy way." One of the boys said and the others nodded.
"Alright you boys know what to do" another one said.
They all looked up at the sky and said "we believe"
Then there was this strange scary noise but I couldn't see what was making it, all the boys were still looking up at the sky so I took this as my chance to run. I quickly got out of my hiding spot and ran down the sidewalk.
"There she is, get her now!" A boy shouted.
The scary noise seemed to get louder and closer to me, I kept running until I was suddenly picked up off the ground and lifted into the air! I looked up and saw a.....shadow with glowing eyes!? It was flying so fast that all I could see now was forest.
"Where are you taking me?.....please take me back home!" I said as I struggled in the shadows grip.
"Silence child! he would not be happy with me if I took you back to your home, He's been searching for you for years now." The shadow said in a bone chilling voice.
"Who's this he?" The shadow ignored me and continued on flying.
We flew over a small town I've never seen before and it was right by an ocean or a large lake. If I can get out of the shadows grip when we're over the water I might be able to escape! I started struggling like a wild animal but it didn't do anything, then I remembered the milk I got from the store. I still have it in the bag! I quickly got the carton of milk out of the bag and I opened it and chucked it in the shadows face! The shadow let go of me and I fell into the water. I quickly started swimming to the docks while yelling for help. The shadow flew down and tried to grab me but I was suddenly pulled out of the water and onto the dock by someone?
"Give me the girl now!" The shadow growled.
"Umm how about no" a man dressed in all black leather said as he stood in front of me protectively.
"He will not be happy when he hears about this, you know how long he's been looking for this girl."
"Well I'm afraid he's going to be a disappointed boy, because he's not getting Jessica. We won't let him" the strange man said. How the hell did he know my name!?
The shadow growled in anger before he tried grabbing me but a flash of light hit the shadow before he could get to me.
"Don't even think about it" a dark haired woman said as she came up beside me.
The shadow hissed and quickly flew off.
I quickly back away from the man and the woman.
"How do you know my name?" I asked the man nervously.
"Just calm down Jessica, we're friends with your mother Destiny." The woman said.
"Who are you and where am I?"
"My name is Regina and that's killian, and your in storybrook"
(His POV)
"Why didn't you get her back!" I yelled in anger at the shadow.
"Regina and the pirate stopped me, I wasn't going to be able to get her. " the shadow said with his head down.
"You disappoint me" I said coldly before walking away.
I guess I'll have to go get her myself.
(Jessica's POV)
"Storybrook?" I said confused
"Just come with us and will explain everything." Regina said.
"I want to call my mom."
"Here you can use my umm.....magic talking....box" the man named killian said.
"It's called a phone you idiot" Regina said while rolling her eyes at him.
"Whatever." Killian said back to her.
I quickly took the phone and called my house.
(Destiny's POV)
Jessica should have been back by now, where is she?
I was about to go out to look for her but the phone rang. I quickly answered it.
"Hello?"
"Mom....it's me" I heard Jessica's voice say.
"Oh my god, Jessica where are you?"
"Well on my way back home from the store some boys started chasing after me, I think they were trying to kidnap me. I was able to hide in a bush and that's when the boys said we believe while looking up at the sky and a scary noise came. When I made a run for it I was grabbed by....a shadow creature!"
Oh no, it can't be him.
"Jessica....where are you right now?"
"The shadow flew over a town I've never seen or heard of before, I was able to get the shadow to let go of me by splashing the milk in its face and it dropped me in the lake or ocean by the town. Then I was saved by a man and woman, they know who I am and they say they know you. Their names are killian and Regina."
"You can trust them Jessica, their really good friends of mine. So this means....your in storybrook." I said in worry.
"Yes that's what Regina said."
"I'm on my way" I said before hanging up and rushing out to my car.
(Jessica's POV)
After I was done talking with my mom on the phone Regina and killian took me to a place called Grammy's diner. That's when they slowly started explaining to me that everyone in storybrook is a.....fairly tail character.
"This is a joke right?" I laughed nervously.
"Your mother Destiny never told you about her past, Did she tell you anything about your grandparents?" Killian asked me.
"She only told me something's about my grandmother, her name was Rose and she was a very nice person and was highly liked by people. But she never told me anything about my grandfather."
Regina and killian nodded.
"Well I'm sure your mother will explain more to you when she gets here" Regina said
About an hour later my mom arrived at the diner. I quickly ran into her arms and hugged her and she hugged me back.
"Oh thank god your safe." She said happily.
"What's going on here mother, why haven't you ever told me about this town. This is where you grew up, and why did Regina and killian tell me that everyone in this town is a fairly tail character!?" I asked as I pulled away from the hug.
She sighed
"Well....it's true, everyone in this town is a fairly tail character. Please let's just sit down and I'll tell you everything." She said
We sat down in a booth with Regina and killian and they told me everything.
"So my grandmother was kidnapped by....Peter Pan who was obsessed with her. And my mother is Peter pans daughter and I'm his granddaughter." I said in disbelief.
All three of them nodded their heads.
"I don't believe it." I said.
Regina sighed "Maybe this will help you believe" she said and she waved her hands and in a poof of smoke there was a big brown book that had 'Once upon a time' on the front.
"How did you do that?" I asked shocked.
She just shrugged her shoulders.
"Magic, I am the evil queen after all." She answered. "Anyways this book holds all the stories of everyone in this town or in other worlds. Including your grandparents."
I slowly opened the book and saw many of the fairy tale stories mom would tell me when I was younger. I finally reached a chapter that said 'Peter Pan and Rose' I quickly read it and I couldn't believe what I was reading. There was even a picture of my mom when she was younger and she was with Peter Pan on neverland. Once I finished I quickly closed the book.
"I don't understand. Pans shadow is dead and so is Peter Pan. Who's shadow was it that tried to take me?"
"Well I'm not sure how but about five year ago neverland reappeared, And so did Pan. He stole other people's shadows and he controls them, and we found out that he's been searching for you Jessica. We think he wants to get revenge on your mother for shooting him all those years ago." Killian or really captain hook said.
I just sat in complete shock until my mom stood up and took my hand.
"Come I want to show you something." She said and lead me out of the dinner.
After a few minutes of walking we got to a cemetery. We came up to a grave stone that was surrounded by flowers.
"This is your grandmother Jessica." My mom said as she looked down at the grave.
I slowly leaned down in front of the grave and gently ran my fingers across the name carved into it.
"Rose" I whispered.
Suddenly a new voice spoke from behind us.
"Destiny, is that really you?" A man's voice asked.
I turned around and saw a man who must be around his late fifties. He had brown hair that had some gray spots and even a little beard.
"Malcolm!" My mom said happily as she hugged him and he hugged her back to. "It's so good to see you again"
"It's good to see you too destiny, It's been too long." The man named Malcolm said.
They pulled away from the hug and then my mom turned to me.
"Malcolm this is my daughter, Jessica" she said proudly. "Jessica this is Malcolm."
Me and Malcolm shook hands.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Jessica." He said with a friendly smile.
"It's nice to meet you too." I said smiling back at him.
(Peter pans POV)
Good thing no one here knows my true form. I hate it though, this old form is my shame. Luckily it's only for when I'm here in storybrook so no one will recognize me.
I smiled at Jessica, she's got Roses beautiful long blonde hair and brown eyes. And her face details are more like destiny's. We talked for a while until destiny and Jessica left.
I stood looking down at my loves grave.
"Oh my precious Rose. I miss you more then you can imagine." I whispered.
I hopped that when destiny shot me back on neverland that I would be re-united with Rose but I ended up back in the underworld. But only for two days and then I woke up back on neverland. I guess I'm just that much of a bad boy that even death keeps spitting me back out.
However I will have my Rose back. I read about a magic potion that can bring my little lost girl back. I've spent years looking for It but it was hard because I was also looking for Jessica. I haven't forgiven my daughter destiny for what she did the last time she was on neverland, and I'm going to use Jessica to hurt her mother and make her suffer as her punishment. She needs to learn her lesson, I'm still her father and she will obey me. All I have to do right now is get Jessica to neverland.....and the new game will begin.
