It was time to sleep. The inevitable blank space we enter for eight hours if we're lucky that some of us fail to fall from in the mornings. But how can a person sleep when their ceiling fan is spinning so fast the panels are just rings and there is no definition between each independent panel. To most this is irrelevant to how they sleep each night but as for me I cannot remove the treacherous idea from my head that one day my fan will be spinning so fast it becomes unhinged from the ceiling or in relation the ceiling collapses on to my resting body and removes life from my person.
