Well I didn’t know that the other Matt was on the kitchen till I got up, I had a massive headache and my mouth was dry so I didn’t think it twice, I got up trying to not wake up Alex, and I went to the kitchen and I bumped into the other Matt
“Mornin’” I said
“Good morning” He said
Yeah even though a few hours ago we talked like we were old friends, in that special moment we didn’t have anything to talk about, there was an uncomfortable silence that lasted forever, well not really, it lasted till he talked to me about the weather, personally I think that talk about the weather with someone is fall really down, I don’t know talk about the weather shows that you don’t have nothing interesting to talk about with that person, is like if you were trying hard enough to talk about something, conversations should be fluent. Of course I didn’t say all this thing to the other Matt, that would be rude I guess
“Yeah is pretty cold”
He smirked
I opened the fridge and took the water out, I grabbed a glass and I poured the water in the glass slowly, maybe I was sleepy, maybe I didn’t want to take off my eyes of the water because that would imply that I had to start a conversation with the other Matt, once again, don’t get me wrong, he was really nice and funny and all that stuff but I suspected that maybe he had “something more” with Alex, or maybe not, well she gave me the camera because we had a thing, maybe she had a thing with the other Matt too, I don’t know
When the glass was full I put the bottle in the fridge again and I started to drink slowly, it seemed like I was enjoying way too much the normal action of drinking, but I was “making time”, when the glass was finally empty I washed it, and put it on the table
“I know what ‘you thinking?” He said
“Do you?”
“Yes, Alex and I are just friends, nothing happened between us, nothing ‘unusual’”
“What ‘you mean with ‘unusual’?”
“Well she is beautiful, and I was her only friend there so sometimes we cuddle on the couch while we watched shitty realities”
“Oh”
“Nothing unusual, nothing important, nothing special, I guess..”
“It’s okay, I’m not her boyfriend”
“I know, but you have a special thing”
“I guess so..”
If the situation before I drank the water was uncomfortable, after that conversation it was beyond the limits of the most uncomfortable thing in the world. Fortunately, Breana entered to the kitchen and muttered a ‘Good morning’, she drank a glass of juice
“Matt is a really comfy pillow” She joked with me
“I know that, it was my pillow before you met him” I said, we laughed, even the other Matt laughed
“Sorry, now is mine”
“Oh I see what you are doing, you stealing ma’ man”
“I’m a thief” She said opening her mouth and then covering it with her hand
“Emm, I should probably go now” The other Matt said looking at his phone “Alexa wants to meet me in a shopping center”
“Ow, say hi from me to her” I said
“I will” He said
“See ya”
He was going out the kitchen but he entered again
“You tell Alex that I had to go”
“I will” Breana and I said at the same time, then we laughed
I talked to Breana till Matt woke up
“Here is our man” Breana said, I laughed
“Arrg I had to wake up because you wouldn’t stop talkin’, you annoyin’ shits” He said
“Shut up, you love us” I said, he blushed
I went to the living room, Alex was still sleeping, how she was still sleeping when we made a lot of noise? I don’t know, but there she was, lying on her side, with her arms between her thighs, her hair was magically on the pillow, she looked like an angel I swear it
I went back to the kitchen, I wanted to ask to Breana if Alex always sleep a lot or.. what, I slept with her, but it was in a special occasion, I don’t know, so as I was saying I went back to the kitchen and I found Matt and Breana really close to each other, smiling like little kids, as soon as they saw me in the kitchen they separated a little bit and acted like if they were doing something else, Breana blushed a lot, I wonder what happened, or maybe I knew it and I was playing fool
“Stay away from ma’ man” I said trying to break the tension
They laughed really loud, I moved back and I checked, Alex was still sleeping
“Alex usually sleeps this much or..?”
“Ow look at him, worryin’ about his girlfriend” Matt said, I blushed
“Shut up, she is not my girlfriend”
“She loves to sleep, but maybe you should go and wake her up with kisses or .. something” Breana said, I nodded
I don’t know if she was saying that to get away from me and go back with the thing they were doing together, or if she really thought that would be a great idea, maybe a little bit of both things
So yeah, I went to the living room, I sat next to her and I stared at her for a few minutes, I heard her breathing, she looked so calm, and yes, I decided to break that calm and peace that she had tickling her right side
She moved and moaned, but then she started to punch me with her pillow, and one thing took to another and we got a huge pillow fight
I managed to grab Breana’s pillow and I already had mine so that mean that I should won, but I didn’t, I don’t know how but she jumped over me and even though I had two pillows I couldn’t defend myself from her attack, I tried to push her to the floor, but I couldn’t, she was grabbing both of my arms, she didn’t have the pillow anymore, I guessed the war was over, and I lost
I also knew that the war was over because she started pecking me in my lips, and then my forehead, and then my neck, there were child kisses but they were so sweet
Then Matt and Breana entered to the living room
“Nice fight you are having there” Breana said
Alex stood up and helped me to stand up
“We are going to the coffee shop, you wanna come?” Matt said
“Sure” Alex said before I could think in a properly excuse to not go and stay in Alex house with her
“Today we have a gig” Matt said while we sat on the tables on the coffee shop
“Yes” I said
“Do you wanna come?” He said
“Yes” I said
“I wasn’t talking to you moron” Matt said
“Yes” Alex said joking
“For god sake! I was talking with Breana” He said
“See what you did there love?” I said to Breana “You stole ma’ man, now he doesn’t talk to me anymore, he doesn’t invite me to his gigs anymore” I joked
“Fuck off” Matt said laughing
“Yes” Breana said
“See? She wants you to fuck off” Matt said with a cocky face
“No idiot, yes, I’m going to the gig”She said
“Wooohoo” Alex and I said making fun of them, they truly made a beautiful couple
“Cheers” Matt said
After some Matt’s funny stories and some other jokes about their relationship, Matt and I went back home, we had a gig tonight so we should had a bath and put clean clothes
So yeah, after I had a bath, I put my sky blue lacoste, clean jeans and converse and we went to the gig
Before it started we found Alex and Breana on the crowd and we told the security guards that she could come backstage, and they did it, I have to say that Breana was really pretty in a pair of jeans, a nice shirt and a leather jacket, but Alex was gorgeous, she was wearing a black loose skirt, black knee socks and an arctic monkeys t shirt (the green one with the old logo), she also put some natural make up and let her hair wild, she looked amazing, I already saw her in the crowd but when she entered to the room I stared at her with my mouth open while she said hi to the guys, just perfect
It would be a fool of me if I didn’t tell her that, and I did it
“Aw you’re so sweet” She said, she hugged me, she kissed me
We talk a little bit until it was concert time
The gig was awesome and it was better than the others because Matt and I had some special guest cheering us in the right side of the stage
After that we decided to go to a bar to celebrate, I didn’t know what we were celebrating but I thought it was a great idea
So we arrived the bar, Matt and Breana, Jamie and Katie, Alex and I, and Nick
“I’m the only one single!” Nick said when he realized that
“Don’t worry mate, Miles is coming” Matt said
“But I’ll be single with Miles here or not” He said jokingly
“Yeah, but he is single too” Jamie added
“We should find you a girlfriend” Alex said
“Yeah you should!” Nick said, we all laughed, it was funny because he didn’t wanted a girlfriend, or maybe he did but he didn’t show that
20 minutes since we arrived
“Oh not again” Alex said hiding behind me
“What happened love?” I asked her
“My ex again”
“Again?”
“Yes”
“Remember…” I said with my arms like a teapot again
“Ohhhhh I love you”
“I love you too darlin’”
But even though I put my heroic face and I swear once again to protect her from her ex like a superhero, she started drinking, she said she didn’t want to look at her ex face again, I guess that was a defense mechanism, she drinks until she was drunk enough to recognize her ex face because she drank until everything is blurred, that was what I thought. I tried to stop her, with the excuse of going to dance on the dancefloor, we danced, but then she went back to the bar and drank one vodka with orange juice, two, three, four, five, I don’t know
“Maaaaaaaaaatt” I shouted to him, he was too busy with Breana
“Whaaaaaaaaat?” He said
“Alex is drinking again because of her ex and I can control her”
“Ow poor girl” Breana said
“I tried to take her out of the bar multiple times, I tried to dance, I tried to introduce her to some strangers, I also acted like if I was sick, nothing worked” I shrugged
“Take her home” Matt said
“Mmm, maybeh”
I ran to the bar, of course she was there
“Come with me love”
“Where you takin’ me ?” She mumbled
“Home”
“Yaaaay” She said happily
We took a cab and we went home, her house because it was closer than mine
When we arrived I asked her for the keys, she throw me her bag, I searched until I found the keys, once inside I took her to her room
“Stay here love, I’m gonna bring you paracetamol and a glass of water” I said
“Mmhmm”
I went down to the kitchen ‘Where the fuck these girls put the medicine?’ I thought, then I went to the bathroom, nothing, and then I had the great idea, girls put everything in their bags so I looked there and I found what I was looking for
I went upstairs with the glass of water and the medicine
For my surprise, when I entered to her room she was only wearing her underwear and her knee socks
“I like your sky blue lacoste” She said
“Uhmmm” I didn’t know what to say
“Can I try it?”
“Ermm yeah… but I don’t have anything to wear..”
“Don’t wear anything” She said grinning
“Mmm I prefer to wear a shirt now”
“You can wear mine”
“Emm..”
“I wanna try it on” She said jumping up and down in her bed, like a five years old kid
“Okay”
I took my shirt off, she made cat whistles
“Shut up” I said quickly putting her shirt, it fits me I guess, I throw my lacoste to her
“Yaaay”
She put it on, I have to say that she looked better with that shirt than I do
She ran in front of a huge mirror that she had in one of her walls
“Cute cute cute” She said, I laughed, she laughed, perfect
“You look perfect”
“I knoooooow, this shirt is awesome”
I grabbed her from her waist and I kissed her neck
“You know what?” She said “You are the best, you are nothing like him, you really care about me”
I smirked
She turned and faced me, then she gave me a passionate kiss
I pulled her back, she was drunk, I didn’t want to get mistaken later so I put her on the bed and covered with a blanked
“You staying?” She said
“Do you want me to stay?”
“Yes”
“Okay”
And I stayed
Author's note: Okay I didn’t have internet the last few days, but in those days I didn’t write, I read a lot (LIKE A LOOOOOT) and I re-read my own story, looking for something that I can change in the future for make it better, so I realized that sometimes I’m not descriptive enough, and that could be good, or bad
Maybe is good because everyone can have their own image in their heads about the things, if I say that idk, Alex’s walls are pink you would imagine that, but if I don’t say it you can paint the walls in the colour that you want, and I think that’s awesome because all the people that read the story can have a different vision of it
Maybe is a bad thing, because you don’t have enough information to imagine the scenes in your head, idk yet
Anyway I would try to describe more the things, and write longer paragraphs I guess
Also I was thinking on start writing another fanfic totally related to this one, it would be the same story but in Alex (the girl) point of view, I think that that would help to understand more the situations, because she is a girl and she notice different things that maybe a guy doesn’t do
I thought that maybe I can start writing some chapters with Alex the girl point of view, but I really REALLY want to write about the first time that Alex Turner talked to Alex the girl
Also I think that Alex the girl is a very mysterious character, I mean, I know how she is, but you don’t know anything about her life before Alex, or what she thought the first time she talked with Alex, or what really happened with Matt Hitt
Idk if there are a lot of people here that are interested enough on my story to start reading another one totally related to this one, but it doesn’t matter, I wanted you opinion about this because you are all very supportive, and really kind to me and I love you all<3<3
But yeah, I think that’s it
If I finally decided to write the other one, I’ll update to this one too, this one would be my main story, and the other one would help me to show you what is in my head haha
