When you fall:
You: Ow, I think I pulled a muscle...how's the horse?
Your trainer: Your fine! Your okay!
Your parents: Oh my gosh!! No more riding! You could've became paralyzed!
Non Equestrian: You pulled a muscle? So what? I got a concussion playing football!
Your friends: Oh my gosh!! If I was there, I would've smacked that horse for hurting you!
The horse: Oops..sorry! It was just a squirrel!
When you talk about your riding lessons:
You: And so last night I jumped 3ft! It felt like we were flying!! And..
Your trainer: Last night's lesson was okay, but HEELS!
Your parents: You make it look so easy!
Non equestrians: Pfft that sounds easy!
Your friends: that's so cool!! I wish I could ride!
The horse: Yeah..your lucky I didn't decide to stop before the jump..
At Horse Shows:
You: I got two firsts, 4 fifths and a sixth! I'm so happy!
Your trainer: Great job! But...remember heels,bending,smile,diagonal,...etc..
Your parents: Oh my gosh!! You looked so professional! You were the best one out there!
Non equestrians: whoa..I won a HUGE gold trophy from my soccer game!! It's way better than a stupid ribbon!
Your friends: Awesome!! Wish I could've came to watch! Your so good!
The horse: I'm happy it's over..now I can eat and sleep!!
