Legolas's pov
Pain shoots to every point in my body as Glynn helps me hobble to the throne room.
"We're almost there, Legolas." She murmurs. Sweat is starting to form on my brow.
"Sorry....for...b-being, a nuisance..." I stutter, feeling bad for making her leave her post to help me. I had felt so good and energized, but then everything crashed. I feel so helpless. I hate it. Glynn puts her hand to my cheek.
"You're cold," She says, a worried look planted on her face. I take another shuttered breath. My legs feel like jelly. Glynn is practically holding me up by herself. We finally reach the throne room door, and Glynn opens it. When my father sees us, he leaps up and rushes down to us. He holds me up, giving Glynn a break.
"Ion nin," He whispers. His turquoise gaze turns to Glynn. "Thank you." She nods.
"I'd be happy to help with him," She offers. Ada narrows his eyebrows and then nods.
"I will assign Laeroth to your post while you assist ion nin in recovery." He informs Glynn. She nods. A wave a nausea falls over me and I clutch my gut as I groan. They both look at me concerned.
"I'm f-fine." I stutter, feeling like a nuisance once more. My father looks over at Thallan.
"Tell Laeroth about his new position." He orders. "And then you, can go on your mission." Thallan bows and leaves the room.
"Mission?" Glynn asks.
"Thallan is going to Rivendell to tell everyone of our new captive and to let them know he got her safely and is in good hands." He explains. He looks at me.
"Lets get you back to your room ion nin, I think you've been out long enough." He remarks, helping me walk out of the throne room. My chest is aching more than ever and more sweat is accumulating on my forehead. We finally reach my room and Ada helps me lay back down in my bed. I grunt slightly as I try to get into a comfortable, not painful position. Glynn sits down in a chair and my father lingers at the door.
"Are you two fine?" He asks. We both nod. "Good, I shall be back shortly."
