2k15 may not have been the best year for me, but i'm determined to not let 2k16 be shitty. i allowed this past year to turn out the way it did, if i'm going to be completely honest. i could've told that rude girl next to me in math that everyone slips up sometimes, i could've asked my teacher to move my seat when i didn't feel comfortable sitting next to him, i could've asked for a schedule change when i no longer felt safe sitting in front of him, i could've asked my friends for advice about how to ignore her. but no, i left everything as is and that's where i went wrong; i expected life to sort it's shit together and give me a perfect ending. in the past year, I've grown as a person and i know i'm capable of so much. if i want a happy ending, i'll make myself a happy ending. with 19 minutes left till new year's, i want you to promise yourself this next year will be your year, just as i am. slay everything you do and put any bitch who gets in your way right back in her place. you've dealt w shit this past year far too much; don't take shit from anyone this year, this year's going to be your year; slay it and come back to this post to remind yourself of how much you've grown in another 365 days. i love you and i know you're capable of so much more than you think you are. slay this year boo. ❤️ [12.31.15]
