I laugh as my best friends throw pinecones at each other. All I did was mention that I did it in my childhood!
"(Y/N)? Can you make some lemonade?"
I roll my eyes.
"I guess."
"Thank you!"
I look back before you open your door and see a pinecone hit Julia. What did I start? I make my way to the kitchen, making sure to kiss my dog on the way there. I get out the supplies out and start to get it make it. I spill some powder when my dog barks.
"What's wrong baby?"
I look back and see black hair poking out from the doorframe.
"Julia, what are you doing?"
Julia pokes her head out and smiles.
"Hey (Y/N)! Um, so, someone mentions us in an interview."
I smile and go back to making the lemonade.
"Good or bad?"
"Good! Definitely good!"
"When was it? Today?"
"Um.."
Julia scratches the back of her neck.
"It was a week ago..."
"Oh? Why didn't you tell me?"
I put the lid on the jug and put it in the fridge.
"Well (Y/N), we did the group vote thing. It was 2 to 3."
"Two of you wanted to tell me?"
"Yeah."
I walk past Julia too the door.
"Can I just watch it?"
Julia slips out the door.
"We all are."
I roll my eyes and take her phone. This better be good.

I scramble and grab my phone out of my pocket while giving Julia hers. I open Twitter and search up Josh's name. Oh my god, he followed me?! I open the dm and start typing.

All of a sudden Julia grabs my phone and starts typing furiously.
"Julia!"
She runs off and continues to type. I chase after, hoping to grab my phone before she sends anything to him. Julia runs to her car and locks herself in.

I bang on the window, trying to get her attention. She ignores me, still typing. God damnit Julia.

After about three minutes, Julia unlocks her car and comes out.
"Julia! What did you do?"
"Sent him a message that I know you wouldn't have sent."
She hands me my phone and smirks. I look down and start to read.

Julia glances at my phone and laughs.
"Look again."
I look down at my phone and see the bubble with three dots pop up.

Julia grabs my hand and pulls me up. My phone vibrates and a number shows up on my screen.

I walk into the bar and see Josh sitting in a booth. I walk over, mentally preparing myself.
"Hey Josh!"

Josh gets up and hugs me. I hug back without hesitation.
"Sit down! Would you like anything to drink? Water? A beer?"
I laugh.
"Josh, I'm fine right now."
He laughs and rubs the back of his neck.
"Sorry I'm nervous. I've had this celebrity crush on you forever now."
"Hey, don't worry. Me too. I'm surprised I didn't walk up to you and make a noise."
We both share a laugh. Me and Josh talk the night away, enjoying ourselves.
"Whoa, it's two in the morning."
I shrug.
"This is normal for me."
Josh smiles.
"You are honestly the perfect person, you know that."
I laugh and cover my face, trying to hid me blushing.
"I could see myself dating you in three months."

I laugh as Josh scoops me up.
"Josh! Put me down!"
Josh shakes his head and hold me tighter.
"Nope. You're mine."
I playfully slap his chest.
"And who says that?"
Josh stops and looks at me.

"Then put me down."
Josh smiles and puts me down. I straighten out my shirt and walk beside him.

"About what?"
Josh rubs the back of his neck nervously.
"Will you be my girlfriend? I know it's a long shot bu-"
I stand in front of Josh, making him stop.
"Of course."
Josh smiles and scoops me back up.
"Josh....put me down."
Josh smirks.
"Nope. Now that you're my girlfriend, you're mine."
I smile. I could get used to this.
