"And I've been losing contact with everyone!" I said to John. He looked as if he didn't believe me. Oh please! Of course he didn't believe me. I had the silliest story ever. But John was smiling and jumping up and down.
"Would you be willing to do something dangerous? Like a dangerous club?"
"Ughh. Sure?"
"Will you do anything the club president says?"
"Okay?"
"Great! Come in the back." John whispered excitedly.
6 people, some my age, others older, sat in the back. There were two girls and 3 boys. They introduced themselves as Ashley, Lisa, Zach, Xavier, Dan, and Jake.
I waved.
"We have our 8th member!" said John, "Now we can finally fulfill our dreams. Stealing the wishstone!"
Stealing? Uh oh.
