Jerky is pretty much just strips of spiced dehydrated meat.
My dad used to make jerky all the time from kangaroos that he'd hunt.

it is to be eaten on toast with butter and it's amazing.
Eating a heap of it at a time is a bad idea, it'll probably hurt your tongue and you won't like it at all
