*Shanell's POV*
(On date with Bradley)
After Bradley's mum dropped us off at the cinema. Me and Bradley entered the huge building and walked up the escalator just for the sake of it. But at first we attempted going up the down escalator but as a result it failed badly.
He cried with laughter seeing my failed attempt since I was literally climbing like a dog and didn't even get past the 6th step without reaching the bottom having to restart.
I gave up and dusted my hands rolling my eyes at how red his face was from laughing "lets see you try then Bradley!" He choked still laughing then straightened up, gave his collar a little pop and rolled up his sleeves before jumping 2 steps and tripping in the process. PHAHAHA! I laughed loudly at Bradley. He styled it out and sat on the moving escalator step and moved up as it moved in a timed motion.
"Oh! Oh! Oh!" he showed off as he continued to move on the steps, I pulled a face and covered my mouth seeing him bump into an old lady. He immediately stood up gob smacked and looked really embarrassed and was going to apologise when the lady made a face like she was going to scold him but then she winked at me then started laughing at how scared Bradley looked.
She patted his shoulder making him smile sheepishly then once she was out of ear shot I cried again with laughter mostly at how red Bradley's ears were. He shot a look at me "Shanell! oh that's it!" I backed away from him laughing as he marched over to me and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder "HEY-BRAD-PUT ME DOWN!". He span around with me still over his shoulder making me laugh more, then he suddenly stopped seeing the old lady look at him again from down the hall. He pulled a face "time to go" he said under his breath then marched back over to the up escalator to escape her.
He held my legs with one hand and with the other hand the escalator rail, "Bradley you can let me down now" I moaned. I heard him hum and shake his head "nope, don't think so." I could imagine the smug look he'd have on his face. He chuckled some more as I continued to plead with him, I covered my face with both hands in embarrassment hearing people on the down escalator next to us whistling and cheering on Bradley. He was even nodding and talking to them.
Argh! how long is the stupid escalator! Bradley is such a tease I swear. When we finally got off the escalator Bradley let me down. I looked up meeting the cheeky grin he had on his face as he moved his hands to go on my hips, I rolled my eyes and pushed past him still really annoyed.
He partly chased after me "ah come on you're not angry with me are you?" I ignored him and continued walking, he sighed "hey Shanny stop" he reached forward and touched my shoulder, I span round flashing fierce eyes at him.
He took a step back seeing my expression, but then put his hands in his pockets. I snuck a look at him seeing a smile creep across his face as he challenged my eye contact. I hid a smile sticking my lips out tight trying to conceal it while looking away from him, from the corner of my eye I saw him tilt his head like you do when something interests you."Shanny you know I was only joking around don't you?"
I sighed looking back at his dark brown eyes and stuck my hand out moving it as I spoke "it wasn't funny you went so over the top, those guys were laughing at me and everything, I bet I looked like a right idiot."
He looked up from following my hand movements and smiled sighing putting his hands on my hips and turned me so I looked at him, "you didn't look like an idiot, in fact you look really nice, when I'm nervous I do stupid things, I didn't mean to make you feel 'embarra-awkward' I just- I wanted to make you laugh."
I huffed letting out a small laugh "embarra-awkward?" he moved his eyebrows and smiled too, "yes, embarra-awkward!" I raised an eye brow at him but he simply shrugged and smiled innocently "I have sisters."
I held my hands behind my back tilting my head up at him "that's your excuse for everything, you're poor sisters" I stood beside him fiddling with my fingers as we started walking again, he put his arm casually around me and moved his other hand around as he spoke looking up from the glittery carpet. "Hey they blame me for stuff, and I blame them- it's kinda how things are done."
I shook my head laughing as we continued to walk over to the snack bar to get our tickets, pop corn and drinks then we walked to screen 3 to watch the movie. Bradley held the popcorn and I held the drinks, "AH I know this song, if you can't heeeaarr what I'm tryna say, if you can't reeead from the same page" I started dancing back rolling my shoulders and stopped walking to move my hips imitating Shakira joining in with some other girls who were doing it too. "Bradley, Bradley am I dancing Shakira like-"
I turned seeing Bradley had carried on walking without a care in the world, I made a face humming in suspicion, did he seriously just miss my dancing? What was he so hooked on now? I walked quickly after him and looked seeing him grinning down looking at his ticket, I smiled seeing his eyes had lit up again. Mmmm should have guessed.
He caught me smiling at him then blushed a tad. I looked away and smiled wider silently grinning, he made a tut sound nudging me "and what are you smiling about?" he said. I shook my head at him saying nothing. "Come on share, what's funny?"
I looked down at the drinks then back at him, "it's nothing funny that's making me smile it's just, how happy you look, your eyes literally lit up just a second ago." I widened my eyes and batted my eyelashes imitating him, he shook his head at me in disbelief, I shook my head back at him "nah I'm being serious, they were literally popping" I nudged him to look at me opening and closing my hand "popping."
"No I did not" he simply said making a face, I leaned back raising my eyes borrows at him. We turned the corner heading for the theatre room door, he managed to open it, "AH Ladies first." I shuffled the drinks in my hand to move them since they were literally freezing my hands now, I turned back to him slightly "oh and yeah you did" I pulled a face sticking my tongue out at him wrinkling my nose.
He turned his head to the left with his eyes still on me and tightened his lips about to say something back but I hushed him and pointed to the sticker sign that was on the door "it says no talking HA HA" I whispered then walked in smiling broadly at Bradley moving my shoulders up and down.
He shook his head at me and mimicked me repeatingly "it says no talking HA HA" and let me tell you now- it was a bad imitation! don't get why whenever guys imitate girls they put on this high pitched nose talk- I mean most girls don't even talk like that, not all girls talk like Ludmila from Violetta! But as much as I hate to admit girls aren't any better at imitating boys either- but hey!
Me and Bradley walked up the steps and sat down on the right hand side of the screen room. The adverts were still playing which meant we'll have to wait a long while before the movie ACTUALLY starts. We sorted out who's whos out of the snacks and drinks and got comfy. I took my jacket off and hung it over the spare chair next to me and lay back sighing happily enjoying the air con.
Bradley lay back too and smiled, "thanks for coming here with me" I looked back at him slightly surprised at what he said "wow- oh you don't have to thank me, I wanted to come here for you-with you, um! what I'm trying to say is-" I covered my face with my hand at how awkward of a person I was.
He huffed a big smile "say no more, if it helps, I'm quite nervous too" I smiled at how understanding he was and that he didn't care that I wasn't famous or like every other girl, but just me and for some reason he likes this crazy, awkward, funny 14 year old girl from England- that's me!
I gazed at him thinking to myself but snapped out of it when I saw him lean over and push his warm lips against mine and pulled back keeping his face close. My eyes crossed and looked up at his dark chocolate coloured eye brows then I looked down at lips that twitched nervously smiling.
He quickly sat back on his seat "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make things um more awkward for you, AH I'm sucha-" I smiled widely seeing him nervously ramble on, "now where is my phone, geez, look Shanny I don't blame you if you want to leave-" he continued rambling on nervously as he searched through his jacket pocket, I shook my head and leaned over and tapped his shoulder.
As soon as he turned to look at me I returned his kiss adding some more of my own efforts. I pulled back and waited a second for him to open his eyes since I pretty much took him by surprise, I bit my lip seeing his sparkly eyes gazing back at me. "Why would I want to leave? look the movie's about to start."
He looked down smiling and took a sip of his drink as I stole a bit of his popcorn and sat back ready for the movie- Aw this was such a great first date!
