Aston's Point of View: Rmellis/Ryoko4848

Time goes on, yet it drags out like it's stopped completely. Feet pattering against the cemented ground — some being the noise of their feet shuffling the grass — their irritating laughter echoing through me without a care. I growl slightly, mumbling curse words their way, but they show no sign of being affected and carry on anyways. A bored sigh leaves my chapped lips as my head rests itself on the tall, thick trunk of the tree. It's hard, rough surface making it slightly uncomfortable though nevertheless do I lean back against it.

Two of the world's most annoying people sit by my side, chattering away and acting as if I'm not there, if only that was true, because I really don't want to be here. The brunette chirps and nudges the dirty blonde male every now and then but he just takes it like she's flirting and does the same.

Cringy.

A bird perches itself on the long, most sturdiest branch of the tree when I look up to the large, coated white, sky. It squeaks away to another, but that other not being within my sight. Before I knew it, I was so deeply stuck within the daze of watching the black bird chirp it's horrid tune, I didn't notice both Bradley's and Cassidy's eyes gawking my way.

Eyebrow raised, Cassidy near enough sat on his lap — which is folded across one another — from leaning so far forwards, he asks; "Everything alright, Ash?" I blink several times and stay quiet, myself just sitting there in boredom and staring at them. That was until I, again, snapped out of it nodding and giving off an agreeing hum. But, this is Brad we are talking about — a stubborn, too caring for his own good, couldn't keep his nose out even if he wanted to, bolder of a man — so he was obviously not persuaded, "are you sure?"

Cas (Cassidy) nods acting like she's mentally asking me through the mind, my response being a roll of my eyes and waving my hand around in the air dismissively. With another sigh brushing it's way from my lip, I glance back up at the sky, only to close my eyes and take in the soothing breeze that strokes my already cold cheek.

I thought maybe they'd leave me be, I did, but as the saying goes: 'thought thought he shit himself but in the end he farted.' They still persisted that they should know more.

Opening my eyes I caught a glimpse of the petite birds' wings spread far and wide. It's round chested body leaning forwards with the steady balance of it's feet, to suddenly hope off the branch. With no fear, it soared away to freedom while I was trapped here with these two imbeciles.

I'm so, very, grateful.

Their taunting voices repetitively blabbering my name, I click my tongue in annoyance answering with everyday words of; "Yeah, I'm fine."
