How would things be different,
If I was white,
And you were grey.
Would I do what you've done?
Would you say the things I've said?
Would we end up on the same path we're on now?
I suppose there's no way of knowing,
Because I'm not white,
And you're not grey,
And that will not change.
But, how would it be different?
Because you and I are different.
Would it be better?
Or worse.
For now, I chose to live in the present,
And cast those thoughts to the wayside.
Because I'm not white,
And you're not grey,
So nothing is going to change.
Well, they say opposites attract.
...But we're not even that, are we?
