-Lapis' POV-
I wake up to the sound of someone moving so I turn around to see Peridot squirming in her sleep, while she does look cute in her sleep, she looked distressed, I poke her and all I get is
"Mmmm... Lapis stop...."
I poke her a few more times
"Lapis..."
I poke her forehead and at that moment, things turned bad
"L-lapis... Lapis! W-wait!" She starts talking in fear
"What..?"
I was so confused
"Lapis! Dont do it!" She violently squirms
"Don't do what?!"
"Don't shatter me!"
At that moment she jolts awake and was gasping hard
"P-peridot..."
"Lapis..?"
"A-are you... are you okay Peridot?"
"Yeah..."
"You had a nightmare Peri..."
"..." she remained silent
"What were you dreaming..."
"Nothing..."
"I know you're lying, tell me"
"Fine..."

I couldn't help but be in shock that Peridot would dream of me like that, like I would shatter her, but I did tell her to leave before and she did get cracked
"Sorry you had to hear that Lapis..."
She had her head down, eyes glued to the floor
I didn't feel bad or offended because of that dream, I know she's feeling pain, and I should help her
I scoot closer to her and pull her in for a hug, it was a nice hug, and after some time she finally returned the hug
"Peri?"
"Yeah?"
"You know I would never do that to you"
"Mhmm"
"And do you know why?"
"Why?"
I pull back to face her, out eyes meeting
"I already told you, because I love you Peridot"
"I love you too Lapis"
We came close for a kiss when we heard a paint can fall over, startling us
We turn to see Steven and the others, who was hiding outside and Steven knocked over the paint can
"W-what're you guys doing here!?" Peridot starts yelling at them, and she was very flustered
"Don't you clods know anything about privac- mph!"
In the middle of her rant I pulled her in for a kiss and that just made her blush like mad
The others just giggled at us
Peridot was mad at them
I was fine, because I knew, nothing can separate us
