A/N:
The older Niall and Elizabeth are about in their late 50s just letting you guys know. I gave Nall a cane earlier due to the problems he has with his knees. Sorry if you thought they were older.

I wake up from a small shake. I open up my eyes to see it's Niall. "Niall?" I say just above a whisper, "What are you doing here?" He shines a big, white smile in the dark and holds out his hand, "We are going out for a bit."
I look up towards the clock that reads eight-o-three in the night. "I'm not suppose to leave the room this late, let alone the hosp-" He places a finger on my lips to stop me from speaking, "Don't worry love, we are still young enough yeah?" He smiles and grabs my hand softly as he pulls me up.
He helps me get changed out of my night gown and slippers into some simple jeans, T-shirt, and sneakers. Niall slowly opens my door and looks left to right. He pulls him and I out of the room and begins walking to an exit.
We quietly exit out and jump into a red 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS with two white strips on the hood. He takes me to the passanger side and helps me get in. He then runs to his side an slides in easily. This car seems so familiar but I can not think where I remember it. Maybe my father or neighbor owned one when I was little, or maybe there was a care show that I've seen one like this at.
As the engine roars, I come out of my thoughts and into the real world. Niall smiles at me and beings to pull out.
"Where are we going?" I say watching him as he drives. "To a special place. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." He speeds up some and contnues to drive in the dark night. I sit back in my seat and let out a small sigh. Why am I even trusting this man? Even though he looks so familiar, I shouldn't be doing this. It's so dangerous. He could tie me up and torture me.
"We're here." He smiles and turns off the car. It's a small baseball field with it's overlights shining brightly over the whole field. Right on the pitcher's mound, there is a red and white picnic blanket with a small wooden basket.
"Come on love, follow me." Niall gets out of the car and over to me. He gently opens the door and helps me out. We walk arm and arm to the mound and sit down. He lets out a sigh with a smile finishing it. I look around and see all of the empty seats. There is some trash on the gound with crushed peanut shells. A game must of been played a bit ago.
"Do you want me to continue the story?" He says reaching into the basket pulling out two wine glasses and some sprakling water. He pours the water into eavh of the glasses half way and looks back up at me. "Yes please, if that wouldn't bother you." I say staring into his pale blue eyes. They are just so, beautiful. They weren't the kind of blue that looks like the deep blue ocean or the blue that is on a blue jay. No, it was the kind of blue that was the color of those little flowers in the grass, the kind of blue in the clear morning sky, the kind of blue that is on a blue diamond. And I was fallin deeply in love with them.
"Elizabeth? Are you okay?" Niall said snapping me out of staring at his eyes. "Oh, yes. Sorry, I was just distracted by something." He nods, "So do you want me to continue the story?" "Yes please." I say with a small smile. He nods and clears his throat.

She runs out of her closet, trying to zip up the dress. She takes a deep breath and quickly zips the dress up. She lets out the breath and smiles at herself in the mirror. It's a black peter pan collar dress. The collar is white. She pulls on some black tights and slides on some dark brown oxfords. "Lizzy!" she hears her little sister yell as she barges. "Whoa, you look so pretty Liz. Like a princess."
"Yes she does." A thick Irish accent says above a whisper. Elizabeth turns her head to see her little sister holding Nialls hand. Elizabeth smiles and lightly blushes. "Hi there Niall." she says as her sister walks away. Niall holds out his hand for Elizabeth to take, "Come on, let's go."
She takes his hand gently and walks out the house with him as she grabs her white coat. When they get outside, there is a black horse drawn carriage. The horse stood about 7 feet high with its mane throughly brushed. The driver was standing outside waiting for them to come on. Elizabeth looked at Niall with surprise, "Niall you didn't have to do this much." He laughed and looked down at her, "But you're a princess, and a princess needs to be shown off as a princess." She blushes more at his words as she his helped up by the driver and Niall. Niall sits close next to her and wraps his arm gently on her waist.
The driver makes the horse start walking out the driveway and down the empty road. After about five minutes, they turn onto an off-road and through many trees. The trees are covered in snow and still look absolutely stunning. The sun is just now setting making the scene even more beautiful. Niall watches Elizabeth as she looks at the trees with awe. "Isn't this great?" He says. She smiles and looks at him. Her bright brown eyes catches his blue eyes. He becomes mesmerized by her. She snaps him out and he blinks a little, "Sorry, I just love your eyes." He mumbles out. Elizabeth blushes, "Thank you. I love yours too." He smiles and leans down close to her. They both close their eyes, their faces only a centimeter away. She feels his breath gently on her face and his hand run through her hair. As they are about to collide, the carriage comes to a stop and the driver says that they are here. She pulls back and looks around. Niall smiles and does the same as her.
There's a pavilion in the center of the meadow. A path has been shoveled for them both to walk without stepping in the cold snow. Twinkle lights are lit up around the top of the pavilion. There is a table that is in the middle with two heaters blowing heat. A man in a tux is standing, waiting for them to come over. The bushes around the pavilion are still covered with snow. As they begin to climb out of the carriage, it begins to lightly snow. Niall smiles and looks at Elizabeth. He can not tell if she's blushing or her cheeks are just cold from the weather. He watches a single snowflake gently fall on her nose. Niall smiles even bigger as he holds her hand and leads her to the pavilion.
He sits her down and pushes in her chair for her. As he takes his own seat, the waiter pours sparkling water into wine glasses for both of them. Niall watches her as she gives a bright smile to the waiter and looks back at him.
"I hope this isn't too much for you." He says a little nervously.
"I was watching a video of yours last night and you said for an amazing date, you wanted a horse carriage ride through the bloomed spring trees and then a fancy dinner outside. I'm sorry that it isn't spring time though." Niall finishes, a bit out of breath due to him quickly speaking. Elizabeth smiles at him even bigger, "Niall, I wouldn't care if there was a blizzard happening at this moment. This is so far a wonderful first date." He blushes at the compliment and looks up at the waiter as he brings the meal from a bag that kept the food warm. He places down the food in front of both of them, "Tonight's dinner is a double cheese burger with lettuce and onion, with a side of fries and ketchup. Please, enjoy." He walks off to the side.
Elizabeth laughs and looks up at Niall again, "I guess you also watched my other video when I talked about my favorite food?" He nods at her question, "I didn't know if you wanted it super fancy or not so I just went with your favorite food, well, meal." He laughs his famous laugh causing her to laugh also.
After they finished eating, the waiter turned up the lights due to it becoming dark. He then walks over to a small radio and turns it on. 'Wake Me Up' by Ed Sheeran begins to play and Niall stands up and holds out his hand, "May I have this dance with a beautiful princess?" Elizabeth's cheeks become very red as she nods and gently holds his hand. He pulls her up softly and the waiter quickly moves the table and chairs out of the way. Niall places both of his hands on her waist and pulls her closer to him. She wraps her arms around his neck as they gently move back and forth to the song.
They dance together quietly, staring into each other's eyes. He twists her around slowly and pulls her back into his chest. He keeps both of their eyes locked together as he runs one of his hands up her body and gently on her cheek. He moves his head closer to hers.
"Wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
And love is the prize"
She feels Niall's cold lips brush against hers. Her eyes close as he presses his lips against hers. He pulls her face gently, connecting their lips more, as he kisses her again. Sparks, no, fireworks, were going off each time their lips touched.
Elizabeth gently pulls back with a big smile. Niall returns her smile with his and gently puts his forehead against hers. "Let's take you home." He takes her hand and walks her to a black car. It's too dark to tell what kind of car it is. He opens the door for her and helps her in. He jumps in and wraps his arm around her waist again. She rests her head on his shoulder, still smiling.
The car ride was quite, but a good quite. He leads her up to her house and then to her door. "This was the best first date ever." Elizabeth says looking up at Niall. "I'm glad you liked it." He says smiling back. They stare at each other in silence, with loving smiles.
Elizabeth breaks the silence, "Well, I guess I should go in. Text me when you get home." She waves 'goodbye' and goes inside. He smiles and bites his lip gently. He turns around and walks back to the car. "Niall!" He hears her yell and turns around quickly. She comes running out to him and plants a big kiss right on his lips. He leans against the car and kisses her back. His arms tightly wrap around her waist and pulls her closer. He slowly pulls back and looks down at her, "Okay love, go inside. It's cold out here." She laughs a little and nods. "Okay okay I'm going." He slowly unwraps his arms from around her. She walks slowly inside and shuts the door.
He gets into the car and starts driving off. "See you soon Lizzy."
