We get to the hotel, Mom says "I will leave you 2 alone, will I see you at dinner?"
"Of course mom" I say
Adam and I head to our room, but he can tell something is up, "What's wrong Babe"
"Nothing I just won 6 gold medals and I finally get to have you in my arms! And with me all night!" I say "BUT" he says "I already have people asking about the next Olympics and I have no clue what I want to do right now" I say.
"So just be honest, tell them that"
"I did but I also said I would decide in 3 years to give me a year to train"
"I hate competing I love swimming, But I think I have to compete in the next Olympics" I say "Why" Adam asks. "Because the next one, I think I will compete for the USA and as long as we finally get married I will be Amanda Levine and will need to change those records" I say.
He laughs and says "We are only pushing back the wedding a month"
"Yes but we keep pushing it back so who knows, we had to just push it back again for more work so this is what 4 times now?".
We spend our days and nights talking, having dinner with the super couple and my mom, shopping with mom and Miranda, having sex and trying to plan some wedding stuff.
"We have to go to dinner with Blake, Miranda and Mom now" Adam says, "Ok I am ready"
We sit down for dinner and are interrupted constantly; we are all used to this except before it was always for autographs for them.
I finally say what we are all thinking "This is the weirdest dinner together yet, I am used to our meals being interrupted for you guys, not me!"
Miranda asks the questions about next Olympics and I told her the same thing. "I hate competing but I might have to, since Amanda Levine will need to be in the record books, plus I should compete for the USA too".
"So we know you have dual citizenship how did that happen?" Miranda asked
Mom told the story about my birth, and as a result my citizenship.
"So you should do the next Olympics because Amanda Baker is Canadian but Amanda Levine is USA" Adam says
"Wow that will take getting used to" Miranda says
"What will?" I say
"Amanda Levine" she says.
"Yeah I think it will take getting used to for all of us" Mom says.
"Yeah well we all know I never thought I would find love again, but we have been through so much really the wedding only makes it legal, I feel like we are already married" I say.
"Well you are both so much Drama you are perfect for each other" Blake says.
"True" we both say and laugh.
"Ok we have got to get out of here I can't take this anymore please" I say.
We head back to the hotel, and in the morning back to the Olympic village.
The day passes Adam tells me we need to move the wedding date again, and I am not surprised I feel like this will happen a lot!
I have my #teamAmanda shirt on. I am standing there waiting to carry the flag and I start to actually feel pride, pride in myself, my sport and my country.
Finally we walk out I find them right away but what is Adam wearing...I try not to burst out laughing, I do smile a big smile though and mouth yeah I do. It's an Amanda wants me shirt. As I mouth it to him he blushed, It was so cute.
Finally we get to go home. On the plane Blake says "Tequila!" and we all do a shot, just one today, we are partying tomorrow night.
"Mom are you up for a HUGE party tomorrow? Miranda asked
I laugh
"What?" Miranda says
"I love how you all call her Mom, you embraced her as quickly as you did me, but for her you didn't need tequila" I laugh
"You nut, I didn't need tequilla, remember I was sober, but without tequila I wouldn't have met you" She laughs and adds "We love your mom, and she is cool" she turns to my mom and says "Your daughter is so much like you!"
"Thanks I think" mom says and adds "I am so ready for a party"
"Oh god you guys thought I was trouble!" I say, then add "We have to get mom a dress"
We land and go to my seamstress, to get my dress done, and to get my mom a dress too. We get back to the houses and Miranda took our dresses since we will get ready there.
"You guy will be there at 4 right? Taping is at 5" Adam asks
"Adam as far as I know that's the plan but you know Miranda tells time about as well as you do"
I wake up and Adam is gone, but there is a text Sorry I didn't want to wake you I thought you might have wanted a good night sleep because it is going to be a long night. Plus I hate waking you up your kind of a bitch lol xoxo.
We go over to see Miranda "I am so excited for tonight I get to go back to you 3 being famous" I said.
"Babe I hate to break it to you but it doesn't work like that, next are calls for shows, commercials movie parts" as if they could tell this conversation was happening my phone rings, it's for a commercial for Kmart in a month or so, I laugh "Yeah I will for sure as long as you do not tell him!"
I hang up and I say "My life was crazy enough I don't want to do it anymore"
"Babe of course you do"
Mom comes out in her dress "I love that dress it looks great on you" Miranda says.
I text him ~ Adam we are late as usual so we will see you in the chairs.
They come out to their seats and Adam gives me a funny look, I take the jacket off and he laughs I turn to show him the Adam wants me on the back. I turn back around and he says "Yeah I do" so of course I blush.
Carson starts introducing them Your coaches, Adam Levine...the place goes crazy! as Carson keeps introducing them.
Carson says Ok coaches we have a few twitter questions for you. Adam @fay123 asks How proud are you of your future wife? Adam says "Carson she asked that I not answer this question right now". I smile I am so glad he did what I asked.
"Okay well this one is for both Blake and Adam @skyblue asked we understand your ladies are BFF's but what is it like at home, with them on the wrong teams this season" Blake laughs "First you normally see Miranda in the chair behind me and Amanda behind Adam, but this season they have switched seats for finale. We try not to talk about it too much at home, though it has led to some great conversations because Amanda is the only one with the outsiders perspective, we are all in the industry she is not and yet she comes up with some of the best reasons why someone will or will not win and her track record for picking winner is better than any of ours" Adam laughs "But we have gotten some of the dumbest reasons from her too" he says "What?" Carson says. " I am so in the dog house for this one, we were talking about it one night and one of us asked her why Team Blake will win and her answer was because I said so that's why" I put my head in my hands, then gave him the you are a dead man stare. Carson says "I am pretty sure you are glad you can't see her face right now", as Adam kind of looks over at me. Of course Mom laughs. "That's a good question, thank you @skyblue" "Yeah thanks skyblue I need to be in the doghouse tonight. Blake laughs and says just give her a little tequila and no more doghouse for you" Alright with all that said, Your final 3 are going to be down to 2 right now...your final 2 are team Adam and team Blake.

Miranda, mom and I head back to the room, and Mark comes in
"Hey Mark thanks for the shirts! And for sending the stencil versions over to my dress maker, she got them back to you right?"
"Yes she did, thanks for plugging the show for me, and congrats on all 6!
"Well you know I love the show and it is such a part of my life, it is easier to talk about then talking about myself" I laugh. "Thanks for accommodating us so my mom could join us too"
Mark says "Babe how could I say no, if I did then you wouldn't have come tonight, and we couldn't have that"
I smile. "True"
