What can you say, the trip to your home was silent. Having the princes at your side walking you home was unusual. And the queen will find out sooner or later but tomorrow morning she will be yelling at you.
"Ah, we arrived." Balthier stopped just in-front of the door of your home.
"Would you like to come in?" it would be rude to just go inside and let them go just like that.
"I wish I could b-"
"[Name] is that you?" asked your mother opening the door.
She opened the door and her smile grew even more. "Oh, so finally found the young man who brought you those beautiful roses?" she asked and stood there weakly and stared at Balthier.
"You what?!" asked Gippal, more like yelled.
Balthier smiled. "Of course, I did. That's what [Name] deserves and even more."
Gippal stood there growling. "Let's go before mother finds out where we are" he said with a scowl on his face and sending a glare at his brother.
"Right, I will be seeing you tomorrow, [Name]." And with a kiss on the top of your hand walked away.
You were blushing and even more when Gippal turned to face you and smirked, he too kissed you, but Gippad kissed you on the cheek. He grinned at your red face and followed his brother.
"Would you take a look at that? There's no time for flirting and yet you have those after you." Your mother said surprised.
"That's non-sense. Why would the princes be after me, when there are others they could be interested on." You asked going in and then shut the door.
Your mother's eyes widened.. " Those are the princes? Oh my, but not becuase you are my daughter but you are beutuful and I don't see why they wouldn't go after you no matter who or how important they are."
"Lets just forget it, OK. Did you take your medicine?" you asked heading to the kitchen.
"Yes, dear." She responded taking a seat. "By the way, Olette came and asked if you could come to a party she is attending tonight. "
You sighed. " I can't."
"You have to go, she is your friend and it would be nice to spend sometime with her. Besides, you work too much and you deserve time to have fun."
"I was actually thinking that we could go and have dinner at a restaurant, mother." And it was true. It has been a while since your mother had seen the town since she is sick.
She shook her head. "No dear, I am tired and I will be fine if I stay alone. I am getting old and when will I get to have grandchildren if you don't find yourself a husband?"
"Mom." You whined making your mother laugh. It was a childish act but she has always asking you when will you find your soul mate.
"Now, go and get ready. There's a gown there that Oletter bought for you. It's on the bed."
At the end you decide to go, even if you felt like staying home. You took a shower and prepared yourself wearing a beautiful [f/color] silk robe, royalty used them or richer people. It shaped your body and it fitted you perfectly, it showed all your curbs. You even wondered how Olette obtained it, she must have spent a fortune.
You let your hair down and was adorned with a few accessories which Olette left for you, and with a pair of combining pair of heals.
Just when you were finished adding an accessory to your hair, your mother came in and once she say you, she stood there with her mouth opened. "Oh my, you look beautiful." She gushed and approached you and embraced you. She had never seen you like this before.
She let go of you but placed her hands on your shoulders and started crying. " I can't believe you are a woman now. Look at you."
The moment was interrupted when a know at the door penetrated the conversation. "I'll be right back." You told her with a smile.
Once you were close to the door, you opened it. There stood two males, one with silver hair along with light blue-green eyes.The other with blue eyes and blond hair and they both looked quite elegant. "You must be [Name], am I correct?" asked the one with silver hair.
The other looked at you with amusement. "Yes, may I help you?" you had never seen them before so how did they know you.
"I am Hope Estheim and this is Rufus Shinra." Hope introduced with a little bow.
"Olette is my cousin, she sent us here to accompany you." Rufus said following Hope's act.
"Oh, I didn't know she had a cousin..."you muttered to yourself.
"Go, or you'll be late honey." Your mother came from behind and greeted the males.
"Well, I'll be back soon." You said and left with the once who were going to take you to the party.
"I presume you are Olette's best friend?" Hope started the conversation since it was nothing but silence.
"Yes, we have been childhood friends but..." you looked at Rufus. "She never told me she had a cousin."
"Yes, my family and I have been away but we did write letters to each other, she talked so much about you." Rufus talked not taking his eyes off of you.
Hope stared at his friend. "OK, than I hope those were good things." You smiled.
Hope laughed. "They were."
It didn't take much time to get to the castle which was where the party was hosted. There were a lot of rich people there and a lot of normal people as well, all having fun.
"[Name]!" yelled a feminine voice, it was hard to forget it even if you barely met her, her voice is hyperactive.
"Yuffie?" now what is she doing here?
She lunged at you and hugged to tight. "So good too see you-" she stopped once she spotted the other two male. "Who are they?"
Looking at the said males you introduced them, " Hope and Rufus this is Yuffie" and then looked at Yuffie.
She frowned not greeting them. "Is any of them your boyfriend?" she asked with her arms crossed.
Your eyes widened with embarrassment, Hope blushed while Rufus looked amused. "N-no, Rufus is my friend's cousin and Hope is Rufus' friend." You said with a bit of pink covering your cheeks.
Her face brightened. "That's good, I want you to meet some people!" she looked around until she spotted someone and then waved her wand and motioned for them to come.
Soon a few males along with a woman approached. "Yuffie, is this her?" one of the males asked and it sounded hyper just like Yuffie.
She nodded. "[Name], this is Roxas, Sora, Namine, Demyx, and Yuna." She looked so happy but once she looked back at Hope and Rufus she looked serious. "Everyone, this is Rufus and Hope" she said it without energy.
"Yuffie!" a male's voice came after she introduced her friends or so you guessed.
"Reno!" her grinned " and Axel!" she added after she spotted another redhead.
Said male didn't waste any time and as soon as he spotted you, he grabbed your hand and kissed it. "You must be the famous [Name]. A real beauty, got it memorized?" he tapped his temple.
The other redhead which you remembered his name, Reno frowned at Axel's actions. "Reno, you're here?" you had to ask.
He seemed to be a taken aback but smirked. "The only one."
The waltz started playing. "[Name] would you like to dance?" asked Hope out of nowhere. He is a man who did what he had in mind.
"Uh, sure." He grabbed your hand and guided you towards the dancing area. He then placed his hand around your waist and you placed your left hand on his shoulder and stared to dance.
~With Yuffie and the others
"Wow, that guy just asked her to dance out of nowhere." Axel looked at you and Hope. Dang, he was going to do just that but the other guy beat him to it.
Rufus was more than amused. He had to admit that you are beautiful and that dress which he paid complimented your figure but he never thought that Hope would be so forwarded. Hope hadn't shown any interest in women until now.
"I told Vincent to come, he needs a woman." Yuffie muttered. He was always in the underworld and always alone, she was actually hoping that he would meet you but he didn't agree to come.
The Cupids just stayed there, they weren't expecting a girl as cute, no wonder Kairi was so jealous. Sora is happy to finally meet you, Yuffie had told them a lot about you and he was excited to see you.
Roxas wasn't expecting someone so cute, he just blushed at the sight of you. He is shy and doesn't really know what to do when he's with people he doesn't know. But he sure is happy that he met you.
Reno was fuming, why did they have to be there. He wanted to talk with you, the moment he saw you, he liked you. He now has to deal with Axel and now with this humans?
~With the Princes
"Where is she?" asked Balthier and looked everywhere.
"Ah, she looks stunning." commented Gippal glancing at you and the other guy you were dancing with. He frowned.
Balthier turned around and looked at the direction Gippal was looking at and smiled at the sight of you. You looked like a princes but his smiled was erased when he saw a guy dancing with you. He growled, not only does he have to deal with his brother who seems to like you too, but with that other guy?
~With Hope
He was dragged along with Rufus who had to go and get a girl,[Name] or that's what he heard. Why did he have to tag along, he didn't even want to go to the party but then again, things changed when he saw that beautiful face of yours.
He is was not interested in women at the moment, they all threw themselves at him and all they wanted was to just get married. Didn't they have others things other then gossip and look for a husband?
He couldn't deny that he was intrigued when he heard Olette saying that you had two jobs and had barely time to sleep. It seemed that you weren't thinking of getting married, all you care if your friends and your mother, something he values. So the moment he saw a few guys who seemed to like you, he wasted to time. There was no woman like you, and he isn't going to let you get away.
~With the Gods
"Where's Yuffie?" asked Sephiroth.
They were supposed to be in a meeting and yet, a few gods were missing.
Vincent looked at his brother. "It seems she and the others were going see a human" he thought for a second "[Name]."
Sephiroth frowned. " She is causing more problems than expected. I am going to have to go and get them."
Vincent nodded. "I'll come."
