Chapter Six (unedited)
Turns out, Cole had visited Connor for a brief minute before he left with me, well more like left me hanging in the elevator while I zoned out at his words
Just when things got even better, I was too slow to open the doors before It took off again- making me wait for another two minutes when the elevator went up to the sixth floor while I took my mind off that stuck up potato sack. I even couldn't remember why he even visited his younger brother when he only showed for like minutes
I mean who does that?
Not only that, I haven't gotten over the stupidest fact they are related
Brothers.
How could I not see that? Did I literally turn blind eye because I was infatuated with his little brother? Was I really that empty minded?
Whatever it it is- I cant even utter to turn my brain on anymore, that information just literally took all my memory space in that little brain of mine
Now here I am, bike on hand as I strolled it by my side instead of riding it. I didn't really want to ride it just for safety. You never really know what might happen when your mind is over the place while you still need more strength to handle the object that is currently guiding your life which is the bicycle.
"Okay now you're exaggerating" Penny rolled her eyes as I came back- I even explained to her every single details even the bike part which was what she replying to. Her back was on me but I could sense her eyebrows furred in a deep line, her hand were preoccupied with a spatula as the patty sizzled in front of her.
I had just came back only to be pulled down by my bed. Who would've known That information could be so tiring to think so I took a thirty minute sleep before coming out of my bed only to see Penny
"Well- I was taken by surprise. How do you think I was barely sane when Connor would stick against you to see how I solved it? Now when those guys came in- I literally thought they were doing a strip show on those bacholerette parties" I joked. my eyes on the teddy I was hugging. I had change into some sweats and a shirt that was basically worn four times a week
Somewhere behind me I heard a snort and even Penny's laugh
"That would be a sight to see" She joked out until we heard someone clear their throat behind us which got us turning only to see Peter and Andy who were looking at them with a smile
"And that would be?" Any questioned with a grin. Penny though huff before she turned her attention back to her burger. When she didn't reply I decided to do it
"I'm tutoring Connnor Darcy and he's brothers came out all a sudden. They were like body builder and everything" After i finished explaining. somehow I stopped when my eyes caught Peter who now stood rigid. His eyes stayed hard as it watched Penny's back like he was annoyed. And knowing Peter, it didn't really take a minute to understand his behavior
"Speaking of Connor- Someone has asked for you outside the building, he said you know him"
"HIm?" This was Penny who answered. Her head seemed to whirl so hard that it looked like she almost had it broken yet her eyes sparkled at the word 'him'. She looked at him and that grin finally came out
"Please don't tell me its the guy from your birthday" She breathed while I shrugged. I didn't really know. Aside from any other guys I know- I only knew six and that includes my roommates and Connor- and of course those I have met but then they don't really have any reasons to visit me
"How should I know-"
All a sudden, Penny whirled and bolted towards the door leaving us before she screamed out
"Watch my burger!"
I on the other was surprised that I rushed to catch up to her- leaving those guys once again.
"Wait- Penny stop!"
My feet could barely catch up with Penny's long legs. I couldnt even breath and I havent rushed down the second stairs yet
"Dammit Penny!" I screamed and when my feet finally caught on with Penny's hair. I stop short when she stopped just behind the window where she peeked outside. And just when I have reached her, I was breathing heavily with sweat on my pits. Why did I suck at being an athlete, I don't know why but right now- I just wished I had the strength to actually run without looking like I had just survived a typhoon
I caught Penny's wide eyes as she froze in front. Her body looked stiff as if she couldn't believe who was there
"Shut up" She stated and I only stared at confusion. Why I didn't reply she said it once again
"Shut up"
"Penny- What?"
"What the fucking hell?!?" Suddenly a screech came out of that beautiful voice of hers before she started bouncing like a rabbit. Her body still rigid but that didn't really stop her from silently screaming her head off as sh jumped continuously
"Okay I'm Confuse" My brows were furrowed until I walked towards the window to see who she was referring to
"Okay I knew you don't really have much guy friends but what the fuck?"
Just when I turned- I literally almost screamed my ass of when I saw Cole Standing just outside our dorm. His back was on us so his eyes were clearly on the lake that was set just in front of the building
"I may not see his beautiful face- which I know is beautiful because that back cannot be some sack head kid. Why didn't you tell me he- he" Penny began to stutter which was normal. Her eyes would look towards him then at me until they go back "you said he was hot!"
"He is I guess" I blushed. Give it to Penny to make me say things like this. I heard her scoff at my reply
"nothing is hot about him- that's- that's- No words can explain just how magical he looks!" she said increadiously while I rolled my eyes
"Now your'e the one exaggerating"
Suddenly Penny pushed my roughly towards the door, her hand flicked figoriously as if she was shooing me out of the building
"Go" she demanded which I only chuckled before taking a deep breath. Alright I can do this
I opened the door and there Cole stood. Hearing the sound of the door opening, he turned just when he gave those dazzling smile
"May I help you?"
"that's nice" he replied with a smirk " such comforting welcome to a friend"
I smiled at his sarcasm but that didn't help the sweat that was now forming through my forehead. Who would have known talking to him here- clear as view and not just the light of the moon emitting the world with a dim color. I won't lie, he did look good. I mean I couldnt even admire him in Connors home when I was literally pulled into a group of beautiful crafted men- Clearly my eyes couldn't only focus on Cole. But those Blue orbs- Now that didn't go unnoticed
Clearing my throat I looked own, embarrassed that I was ogling him
"So..."
"So"
"Clearly You know where I stay since your family owns the place, what I don't know is that why you are here?" I mentally cringe, Was that harsh? I don't know, I just hope Cole doesn't think I didn't want him here
I mean- not that I was expecting him to come...

Fuck me and my useless self talk
To my surprise, Cole laughed and not just the snort or a chuckle but a laugh that got me blushing once again.
"I came because I thought of something, well- technically I realize something" "
"And that is?"
"Can we walk?"
I silently nod. I was relieved that we wouldn't have to look at each other when we talk. As we journeyed towards the campus, Cole began explaining
"Okay, so I'm going straight to the point here" Cole took a deep breath before he hastilly continued "I want to make a deal"
"Deal?" I asked confuse
"Yes a deal. Your're my Brothers bitch"
"Hey!"
"Right, I meant you've help him with college and yet you kept it professional and top secret. You look like someone to trust"
My brows furthered more as I thought once again. Okay I didn't know where this was going and pretty much I was confuse as hell
"I need you to help me with Sarah- I'm not sure you remember her but the girl I talked about in the party"
I nodded in understanding "pretty girl with peanut size brain of a boyfriend"
Cole then smiled at the joke. Not that I was joking anyway
"I'm in my limits and I need you to seduce someone"
Suddenly I froze, my legs literally couldn't move as I stared at him like he was crazy
"Excuse me?"
Cole rolled his eyes in annoyance as he began to explain slower like he was explaining to a preschooler
"Seduce Loser. You know to lure her boyfriend to pull his pants down-"
"Okay whoah" I brought both my hand up- eyes wide as I stayed at him like he was crazy "I- I -I'm not sleeping with anyone"
"I never said sleep with anyone, I was talking of seducing him until that man begs you to fûck him"
A shudder left my body as the thought of him touching me came in mind. I've seen that guy the whole night when I sat on that roof- he was someone who wouldn't go unnoticed. With that screaming intoxicated, klutzy daredevil, yeah I had enjoyed watching him make fun of himself during the party.
I shook my head before glaring at him
"Look I'm not seducing anyone and I don't know what's so related with tutoring your brother but I pretty much believe trying to pull a mans pants down through being seductive are far from being related" I stopped for a moment before a sigh escaped my mouth "plus You might need someone more sexier or pretty and confident" I mumbled but I could tell. Cole heard it
"That is shit Colby. Sure you aren't sexy and pretty but that's not what I'm looking for anyway"
Did I say he was flawless? Then I take it back.
I silently glared at the ground as he continued
"Jack may be a jock but that man has hots for nerds. Trust me, Sarah's just that typical girlfriend to keep the image up. But turns out- jacks a sucker for ugly ones"
"Okay that was rude"
With a guilty smile, Cole only shrug before he gave an apology
"Not that your ugly Loser , but I'm talking about geeks with glasses an braces and those who wears knitted shit"
"How do you even Know this?!" I ask incredulously. I know he liked this Sarah chick but not to the extent where he would be obsessively try to ruin their relationship
"Connections " I sighed before we sat on the bench that Lay under the tree
"Look if you really want this girl, why don't you just confess and maybe-"
"Whoa whoa! Who said I liked her?"
I stared at him. Hard.
"You looked Bummed at the party- I just thought-"
"You're such a loser you know that" he grinned before placing both hands behind his head "that my friend was my pride talking"
"You're kidding"
"Oh I don't kid my child"
"Oh my god" I muttered. I hope I don't choke the shît out of this person "okay I'm leaving" I instantly stood but to my dismay, Cole instantly locked his hand on my wrist
"Hey come on please? I want her to see that she shouldn't mess with me. I'm doing both a favor"
"Let me guess, she embarrassed you?"
"That bítch called my junior small"
I looked at him. Was he serious?
"Unfortunately it ruined my image for a bit so I'm taking a plan and you're helping me"
"Not that I don't like it but I don't like ruining someone's life because it's fun" taking my wrist roughly, I turned to walk away only to freeze when Cole said those exact words I never thought would be exposed
"I'm gonna tell Connor then"
Slowly turning around, my glare intensified when I saw him grin
"That little crush of yours must have been a very long time ago. Now that I think about it, it's such a coincidence that you've been classmates since high school and...." He trailed off before turning towards me. That grin only widen when I realize he knew
"Why me" I demanded while Cole only sat
"Because you're the only nerdy looking friend I have. So...." he clapped his hand together before moving fiward- giving me That dazzling smile "what do you think"
"How are you even brothers " I huffed before turning around to walk back towards my dorm. It was not before Cole yelled once more
"Text me your answer!"
When I arrived back to the building- I found Penny sitting on the sofa with a smile "shy towards boys my ass" she joked only to stop when she saw my face before wincing "was the date that bad?
I, in response groaned heavily
