You know that saying " You've been hurt so much that when someone actually cares about you you don't know how to accept it."
Beat, battered, and broken, but I still have hope.
All I've asked is for you to give me your attention.
And all you've done is shown me even that is to much.
I've been broken, beaten, hurt, lied to, used, mistreated, toyed with, but I have hope.
Hope is a hard thing to kill, but I need proof.
And if the only proof I need is your attention; for you to text me like you care
and if you can't even do that...
then why should I believe you?
