Bleeding Hands

He saw his own bleeding hands

And understood it was the end.

She waited on the other side,

Nothing but him was on her mind.

"Breathe," he whispered into the void,

And looked up at the angels and humanoids.

She stood up, feeling all his agony,

And she shed tears- honestly.

He wouldn't shout, he wouldn't cry,

Even if it meant he had to die.

She ran towards him, falling of her feet,

Into the fire and the heat.

He thought of her at last,

Wishing for her not to stay in the past.
