The werewolves myth was always a nightmare to me since I was nine. I never loved the werewolves, in fact, no one did. That's what my grandmother told me.
I lived with her for almost all my life . In an abandoned place, a place far away , with just few people around. A place where it always rained, a place called Seatle.
I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom. I'm tired of those nightmares. They say, if you had a nightmare of something you fear off so much, Live it...
So that's what I'm going to do. I will put my life in danger and I might die just like my parents died 10 years ago. Yes. On my birthday.
I went down stairs clumsily, "grandma? where are you?" I called out.
She always wake up early in the morning and sit right at the coffee table at the corner of the kitchen. But I didn't find her there.
She's probably in the living room.
"Grandm-"
"SURPRISEE!!" I screamed and let out a breath holding my chest.
"What the heck Alex?"I huffed angrily.
Every birthday she scares the shit out of me. And I'm not going to get used to it.
"Happy birthdayyyyyy!" She squealed. Holding a cupcake with a candle on it.
"Ok. Ok. Thank you so much. " I told her taking the cupcake from her and blowing the candle.
"Where is grandma?" I asked.
"Oh. The weather is so beautiful today. It's sunny out side. So go put on something cute and a little bit of make-up and do your hair so we can get out. "She said without bothering to breath.
"Ok. "I told her huffing and getting up to my room to get ready for what ever she is planning to do to me. Well whatever she would do it would always turn out bad at the end.
Last year I ended up drunk . The year before that , I ended up covered with cake. Yea that's all because of Alex. She loves surprising me a lot (Aka scaring the shit out of me).
Alex was a 19 year old girl like me. She had brown hair and light blue eyes. She was almost my height and so thin with perfect body curves. She was my only best friend in Seattle High School. And she was soo hyper. When I tell you hyper like DON'T ever tell her words as 'shopping' or 'party' or 'surprise'.
I walked in my room and sighed . After taking my daily shower and drying my hair. I went to my wardrobe. I shuffled in my clothes till I gave up. I sighed and turned around leaning a little on my wardrobe.
I turned to go down and ask Alex for some help. But right after I was going I spotted something red. I looked at my bed and saw something like a cloth fold on it with a piece of paper on top of it.
I pulled it and unfold the cloth to see a red dress that reached to the knees with a black thin ribbon on the front with a V-neck . Wow. When did I get that?
I picked up the paper and unfold it
'Dear Kylie ,
This dress was for your mom. She bought it on her 19th birthday and she told me "If I get a baby girl I'll give her that dress on her 19th birthday. " so I gave it to you and I hope you love it like your mother did. '
Tears fell as I read the letter.
"Oh my god. " I put the dress on and pulled my brown hair in a pony tail.
I dried my tears and placed some light make-up on my face.
I took a deep breath and looked at my tall mirror.
The dress was so beautiful it was tight from the above making my chest look bigger. And it floated down stopping at my knees. I saw a beautiful girl with blue eyes and brown hair smiling at me.
I searched for my black high heel and I wore it.
I went down stairs and out the backyard.
"SURPRISEE!" They all screamed.
"Oh my gosh. Thank you. "I said as if not expecting this.
I gave the crowd a smile.
They were some of my friends from school, some of my neighbors , Alex , A guy I've never seen , and oh grandma.
I ran to her and hugged her "thank you so much I love it." I pulled away. And saw her drying her tears.
"Oh grandma !sorry I made you cry. "I said drying the tears left.
"It's ok dear. Glad you like it. You look just like your mom. "She said holding my face with both hands.
"Oh stop it grandma. You'll make me cry. I don't want to ruin my make-up. "I told her and we chuckled.
Alex then pulled my and started hugging me and started singing the 'happy birthday song' then everybody joined her. Awkward..right?
She got the cake , written on it;
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLIE."
She then started singing. "Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you.
You smell like a monkeyyyy
And you act like one too. "
"Haha that's why we're friends. "I laughed as I walked to her and hugged her.
They all ate cake. Scratch that we ended up in a cake fight. Literally.
It started with Alex. She was about to hit me with a piece of cake but I went down and it hit the guy I've never seen. He threw back one and it hit my grandma. I was in a shock state when Alex threw a piece at me. And then it started.
I ended up with cake on my hand and believe me on my leg and face.
"Thank you so much. "I told Alex.
"That was the best birthday party ever. "One of the guys said waiting his turn with us in the line to go into the bathroom.
"It's alway the best at the Bells family. Isn't it?" Another one said.
"Thank you guys. "I replied to them smiling.
I felt someone watching me but I shook it off.
The guy that I never seen before around -I really need to know his name- approached us.
"Hey , where is the bathroom?" He asked politely.
"Right over here. You gotta go back to the end of the line. "One of my guy friends said.
"Wow. Ok. "He said. I couldn't help but feel bad for him.
{He was taller than me , with a muscular body, and brown spiked hair , his blue eyes sparkle under the light , his lips rose in color , his teeth white and shining. He was wearing a tight t-shirt with a black jacket on top. His abs were showing cause his shirt was a second skin to him. He wore a black skinny pants that made him like a goddess..}
I was drooling over him, watching every detail of him when someone called me.
"Kylie. What are you thinking off. Move it. It's your turn. "
Damn.
"Know what. Take my turn. I'll be back. " I told Alex.
She nodded and went in.
I swayed up to the beautiful guy as his ocean blue eyes made contact with mine, I saw him struggling to keep his composer. "Come with me," I said. I saw something click in his eyes and he obeyed.
