*Two days before the wedding*
I sat down on the sofa and watched the tv. I watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I remember that day on mine and Ashley's honeymoon where we went on that boat and we screamed anything we wanted the whole world to know. I miss him so much. If only I could go back in time and change everything. I munched on my popcorn. Ian sat next to me and grabbed some popcorn from the pot.
'We're getting married in two days.' He smiled placing his arm around me and kissing me on the forehead. I faked a smile at him.
'What's wrong, babe?'
'Nothing.' I faked another smile this time it was obvious that it definitely was fake.
'You don't want to marry me, do you?' He asked.
I didn't reply and continued watching TV. I tried to pretend that I didn't hear him. He got up from his seat and grabbed the remote from the table. He turned the TV off.
'Hey! I was watching that!' I yelled.
'Just answer me! Do you want to marry me?'
I looked down on my popcorn and didn't reply.
'It's ok. I understand.' He said.
He sat down next to me and took a deep breath. 'I.. I need to tell you something.' He said.
I raised my eyebrow.
'N.. N.. Nothing happened.. nothing happened between us, Sarah.' He muttered.
'What?!' I yelled.
'So you mean this baby isn't yours?!'
He shook his head. I felt my heart beating rapidly. I was so angry! I couldn't believe he lied to me.
'I'm so sorry, Sarah. I just wanted us two to be together. I'm sorry.'
'Ian! I can't believe you did that!!!!' I shouted.
'I know.. I know.. I'm sorry. I've been the biggest jerk ever. I blackmailed you, I lied to you and mostly I was being selfish. I'm so sorry, Sarah.'
I was speechless. I wanted to slap him and yell at him but what was the point? It's done.
'Why are you telling me this now?'
'Because I've realised how much of a jerk I've been to you. You deserve someone who's much better than me. You deserve to be happy. I'm letting you go. Go to Ashley and tell him you love him! Go!!' He yelled.
I got up from my seat and gave him a tight hug.
'Thank you!' I whispered to him.
I ran out of the house and got into my car. I drove off...
