Prologue:
The smell of freshly cut grass filled the summer air. The sound of children laughing played the theme tune of the park. Children of all sizes were running around, sliding down slides and swinging on swings. One girl was sat on the swing closest to the sandpit. Her long, dark brown hair floated through the air as she glided back down from above and then swung forward. She kept on smiling, her grin showing all of her pearly white teeth. She looked about five, happily swinging back and forth. A man stood behind her, her father. He laughed along with her, pushing her forward when she came shooting back to him. This moment was paradise, the perfect father, daughter moment, their perfect moment. If only time could freeze, if only they could stay there forever, a moment where they could laugh, have fun and actually spend time with each other. It’s funny how all of this could vanish in an instant.
BANG!
The sound pierced the silence of the still house. It was the sound of a gunshot. The noise still echoed through the walls, vibrating the rooms. Her eyelids shot up, her bright blue eyes frozen in terror...
