Chapter 3:
KATIE'S POV:
Kaylie and I woke up around 9:30 ish the next morning. we got up and had cereal. we both decided on Captain Crunch. after we were done, we decided to watch an episode of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition. we were both in love with the show and the very talented dancers. when we finished our episode my mom called.
she told me she wanted me to come home in an hour so I could hang out with the family. I agreed and plopped myself back on the couch next to Kaylie. we were both silent for a moment, and then Kaylie sighed and grabbed her phone. I watched her as she turned on her phone. the second her lock screen lit up her eyes widened.
"what happened???" I practically screamed.
she slowly turned her screen to me showing thousands and thousands of mentions on twitter.
"check yours." she replied still in shock.
I basically sprinted to my bag and pulled out my phone to see TONS of mentions on twitter as well. I opened it and saw that they were all about our dance video.
•wow. you can dance! congrats with the tickets!•
wait what tickets?
•I'm SO jealous! good job tho•
•ugh. dancers are sluts. go die in a hole•
well then.
I looked up to Kaylie who was checking our YouTube channel. our video had 750,000 views. are you kidding me???? what the heck happened???
Kaylie gasped as she saw a video response from Modest. she hurriedly clicked on the video and we watched.
