What did you have for breakfast?
Toast? Cereal?
Did you take a moment to look up into the sky?
And just absorb into your eyes the beauty that surrounds you?
I don't mean the scruffy bed
or the mess around you
or even the 'just-rolled-out-of-bed-arent -I -sexy-look'
I mean the trees
and the grass
and the clouds
and the rain droplets that fall from the sky, destined for a earth shattering demise
-quite literally.
Get up and stretch
Because you are not a droplet of rain
You are not living a short life
where you are pushed around in the sky from cloud to cloud
And then impatiently made to wait until you
are let loose
Bolting at deathly speeds towards the very earth that
you stand on now.
You my friend are a ray of sunshine
Something that spans across the entire earth
from the sun itself to the deep roots in the ground
because you have the power
to grasp your day
and make it
worthwhile.
