Prologue
I slowly crumpled to the ground, his words cutting into my flesh, worse than any razor had in my past. "You think I loved you?" He sneered. "You're fat, ugly, and the only thing you're good for is fame. You're worthless, clingy, and absolutely pitiful. I hate you. I never ever loved you. No one ever had and no one ever will." I heard his footsteps retreat and my front door slam. I let that sobs rack my body, echoing through my empty flat.
He was right. I slowly carried myself to the bathroom and I stood before the mirror. His words rang in my ears.
I opened the medicine cabinet and pulled out the familiar metal object. My cheeks were soaked with tears and I could barley breath. "One slide and you can forget the pain for awhile." My conscious whispered in my ear. I pressed it to my skin. "No!! You've made it almost a year. Flush the razor. It's not worth it." I realized with horror what I was about to do. With one final sob I threw the razor into my toilet and flushed it. All I remember is literally breaking, and falling to the ground. It felt as though a light wind would shatter my fragile being.
"Where's my hero?" I thought.
