Genius
Maddox's POV
Malawak ang ngiti ko habang naglalakad patungong locker room ng soccer team. El, finally agreed to give me a chance. She was hesitant at first but when she finally said yes, I was in pure bliss. Daig ko pa ang lalaking sinagot ng nililigawan niya. Because I know, deep inside me that I will never let her go no matter what it takes.
I was interested in her the moment I first saw her. It was two years ago and she was a freshman student. She bumped into me in the hallway, she apologized but didn't bother to look up at me. She probably doesn't remember it but I do. Alam kong dalawang taon na ang nakalipas pero hindi ko maalis sa isip ko ang expresyon ng mukha niya. She was gorgeous but her eyes held sadness in them. She was crying and that moment, I promised that I'm going to protect this girl.
And to my luck, she approached me for a one night stand. I was shock. I didn't want to agree with her proposition but I had no choice when she brought up some one else's to sleep with. I can't bear the thought of her sleeping with someone else. I want to be the only one who would make her scream in pleasure.
Napatigil ako sa paglalakad ng marinig ko ang pinag-uusapan ng ibang members ng soccer team. I clenched my fist when I heard Sean's voice.
"I can't forget about her." Sambit ni Sean. Nagtawanan naman ang iba sa kanila.
"Hindi mo makalimutan ang unang babaeng nanampal sayo?" Natatawang tanong ni Vin.
"I don't know. I must be crazy. I should be angry at her for slapping me but I can't take her out of my mind. She's the only girl who treated me that way." Sean said dreamily.
"Be careful, man. I think Maddox is serious with her. You can't stand against Maddox. We all know that."
"I know. Kaya nga may pasa ako ngayon sa mukha. But I should at least try to win her over. I should approach her and then apologize to her first. Ipapakita ko sa kanya na mas karapat-dapat ako sa kanya kesa kay Maddox--" Naputol ang sasabihin nito ng sipain ko ang pinto ng locker room.
Everyone was frozen in the spot as I advance towards Sean.
"Five meters. Go near her for less than five meters and you're dead." I warned.
"Lalapitan ko siya kung kelan ko gusto. It's non of your concern."
My anger falred and I grabbed the collar of his shirt. "Don't try me. Alam mo kung paano akong magalit."
"You're not his boyfriend. You don't have the right to restraint anyone from going near her." He said which made me more angrier.
"Believe me, I do. She's mine and if I say you're dead. You will be." I gritted my teeth as I loosen my grip on his collar.
He should be smart enough to listen on my warning. They know, if I say something, I will do it. Sino siya sa tingin niya para agawin si El sa akin? He's dead before he can even lay a hand on her.
"You're crazy." Sean whispered in defeat.
"Yes. Bat shit crazy for her." Sagot ko.
Penelope's POV
"Aaahrg!!!" I screamed clutching my head. Dalawang oras ko nang ginagawa itong assignment ko sa calculus pero nasa third problem palang ako. And there is still seven items remaining. I am smart but pretty dumb when it comes to numbers. Since I was a child, I never liked math.
At ngayon palang na iniisip ko na kung paano ko kukwentahin ang financial aspect ng business plan ko, nababaliw na ako. Should I shift to another course? But I'm already in third year. Isang taon nalang at ga-graduate na ako so it would be hard if I consider my course now.
I sighed as I rip another page and throw it on the floor.
"I guess, I'm going to stay up all night." Sambit ko sa sarili nang makita ang oras. It's already six in the evening and I haven't eaten dinner. So I'll probably finish this after another five hours.
Napa-angat ang ulo ko nang marinig ang katok sa pinto. Who would be visiting me at this time? Probably Cara. Wala nanaman sigurong magawa sa buhay ang pinsan kong iyon kaya nisipan niyang istorbohin ako ngayon.
"I'm busy, Cara." Sambit ko nang mabuksan ang pinto. To my surprise, it was Maddox with two boxes of pizza.
"And what's keeping you busy?" Tanong nito na sumilip sa loob ng bahay.
"Pano mo nalaman kung san ako nakatira?" I asked suspiciously looking up at him. Why does he have to be so tall? Kunti nalang at hindi na siya kasya sa pinto sa sobrang tangkad nito. I probably look like a dwarf in front of him. And damn, his shirt. It made every single muscle visible. It also doesn't help that I'm chest to chest with him.
I hear him groan. "Keep looking at me like that I won't me liable for my next action."
I felt his eyes travel down my body. Crap!! I forgot I'm wearing a very thin shirt and that my colored bra is probably on display and that my cotton shorts barely covers my butt.
I cleared my throat and looked away. "I'm asking you, how do you know where I live."
"Does it matter? I'm here now so aren't you going to let me in?" He cocked a brow.
"It's not like I have a choice. Okay, come in." I said opening the door wide enough to accommodate his muscular body.
Pinatong niya ang box ng dalawang pizza sa ibabaw ng coffee table kung nasan ang mga paper works ko. Napapikit nalang ako nag ilibot nito ang paningin sa mga nagkalat na papel sa sahig.
"Wow. I didn't know you are such an untidy woman, El." He laughed and sat in the sofa while I took a seat on the floor to continue my work.
"I didn't expect a visit so bear with it." I said referring to the trash on the floor. "Told you I'm busy."
"What are you doing?" Tanong nito. Yumuko siya upang makita ang ginagawa ko. His face is inches away from mine so I tried to move to create distance but his arms draped over my shoulder to stop me.
I looked at him confused but he was busy staring at my paper.
"Isn't this calculus?" Turo nito nito sa sinasagutan kong papel.
"Obviously. It was created to make my life a living hell." I fumed.
He chuckled sitting down beside me on the flooor and grabbing my pencil. "Mali ang sagot mo sa number three."
"Because I haven't even finish answering it yet!!" I tried snatching back my pencil but he grabbed my hand and slowly pull it towards his lips.
His eyes never left mine as he softly kiss the back of my hand. I shivered as his warm lips touched my hand. What the heck is he doing?
"Let me work on this, El." He whispered.
My brows furrowed as I watch him scribble numbers and symbols I couldn't understand. Whatever I do, I don't get it. He never said a word and continued writting so I decided to open the box of pizza and shove one slice into my mouth. Right now, he looks more serious than he usually is. He stops, tapped the pencil for three times like he was thinking then started writing again. Nilapit ko sa kanya ang calculator pero hindi niya man lang ito napansin at patuloy parin sa pagsusulat.
I manged to eat two slices of pizza and after ten minutes he handed me back my paper.
"I--- how--" Palipat-lipat ang tingin ko sa kanya at sa papel ko na ngayon ay puno na nang sagot samantalang ito ay nakangisi lang habang pinapanood ang reaksyon ko.
"What the hell?!!" I exclaimed when it sinked in to me that he managed to answer all the problems in just ten minutes. I was trying to answer 3 items for two hours and he finished 7 for a bloody ten minutes!
Hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ko na bukod sa magaling siya sa sports ay matalino rin siya. But I didn't know he is a bloody genius! Now I realized why Cara adored Maddox so much.
"You don't have to look so shock, El." He laughed.
"How did you do that? Alam mo bang dalawang oras ko na itong ginagawa pagkatapos tinapos mo lang ng sampong minuto?!" Hindi makapaniwalang sambit ko.
"Good thing pala na dumating ako. Dahil kung hindi, ilang oras ka pa dito." He smirked.
I eyed him suspiciously. "Are you sure of the answers? Baka mamaya pala pinaglalaruan mo lang ako. There is no way you can finish that in a short time."
"Don't you trust me? Hindi mo ba alam na perfect ko ang lahat ng exams ko, from first year until now? My grade is straight A. So I assure you, everything I wrote in that paper is right."
My jaw hanged open as I lazily grabbed another slice of pizza and shoved it in my mouth.
"Now, give me your payment." He ordered.
"What payment? If I know you are going to demand money, I shouldn't have let you do it!"
"Who says I want money?" He said. Right, I almost forgot he is the heir of Preston Holdings Incorporation so he probably have a load of money.
"Then what do you want?" I asked and when I looked up at him, his eyes were fix on my lips.
"Don't even think about it." I warned backing away but he grabbed my wrist and placed his left hand on my cheek and leaned closer. I closed my eyes and waited for his lips to touch mine.
His other hand traveled to my waist and pulled me closer. His lips is firm and his mouth is hot, getting me to respond instantly. He pushed me lightly until my back touch the tiled floor. I moaned when his big hands caressed my exposed thighs.
"Don't wear this shorts in front of other guys." He grunted, his fingers played at the waist band of my shorts.
Lifting my shirt, his head travelled to my stomach kissing his way down below. I hear the warning bells and I grip his hair to stop him.
"Maddox."
He only continued his assault to my stomach until I told him to stop. "Maddox, you need to stop."
He lifted his head and looked at me. His eyes are still filled with carnal desire as he help me up and combed his hair in frustration.
"I'm sorry. I think I went too far." He apologized with guilt. He was still breathing hard so I decided to leave him for a moment to give him time to calm himself.
"I'm just going to change. I don't think my clothes is helping you." I said pointing at his arousal.
Hindi ko parin alam kung ano ang dahilan niya at nandito siya ngayon sa bahay ko but I think it have something to do with giving him a chance and working out this so called relationship.
I decided to change into pyjama and a sweatshirt. I'm really going to kick him out of the house if he still find this clothes sexy. The least I wanted is a horny muscular giant inside my house.
Since it's still too early to sleep, we decided to watch a movie. Pinili niya ang isang horror movie at inumpisahan na itong panourin. Nakangisi lang si Maddox, ang akala siguro nito ay takot ako sa horror films. If he's expecting me to squirm and hug him from fear, he is very much wrong.
"How come you didn't even scream?" He asked scowling.
"Sorry to disappoint you but I wasn't planning to shriek like a girly girl you're expecting me to." I smirked standing up to clean our mess.
Nag-upisa na akong magpulot ng crumpled papers na nakakalat sa sahig at ang dalawang box ng pizza na wala nang laman. Wait wala nang laman?! If I remember it right, I only managed to eat four slices of pizza which means he ate everything left.
"Seriously, Maddox? You eat like an elephant. San napupunta ang lahat ng kinakain mo?" Baling ko sa kanya.
He smirked showing his well toned biceps. "Right here." He then lifted his shirt flashing his eight pack abs and I almost drool from the sight. "And here."
"Whatever. You still eat like a vacuum." I said rolling my eyes trying really hard to hide the fact that I'm affected by his body.
"So make sure to feed me well." He said rubbing his stomach.
"And why would I need to feed you well? You are very much capable of feeding yourself."
"Don't be like that El. I'm telling you for future references. You know, when we become a happily married couple. You're not planning to starve your husband, are you?" He said, his tone completely serious.
That night, it took me all my energy to push Maddox out of the door. He doesn't want to go home and demands to sleep with me. Is he serious? We're only dating, we're not in a relationship so there is no reason to stay a night in my house.
"Goodbye, El." He said standing outside the door.
"Goodbye, Maddox. Thank you for tonight." I said and tried to close the door. Take note tried. But he of course stuck his arms between the space. Muntik ko na siyang naipit kung hindi ko nakita ang braso niya.
"What?" I asked annoyed.
"That's not how I wanted my goodbye."
I sighed, leaning to him and gave him a kiss in the lips as fast as I can.
"Good night, Maddox."
Pagkatapos 'non ay agad ko nang sinara ang pinto. Mahirap na baga magbago ang isip nito at ipagpilitang dito siya matutulog.
