-Madelyns POV-
I got in the house, taking off my scarf and checking the time,
10:30pm,
Shit I'm late not as if dad will care. He is out of it, locked up in his office writing.
I put down my phone and headed upstairs.
I hopped in the shower when I stopped myself,
I,wiped the steam on the mirror and saw all my scars from when I was younger.
'Shut it whore!'
'Your nothing to me!'
My breaths became shirt and quick.
I think I'm having a panic attack.
'Just like your mother!'
'I can't tell your not mine and I'm so glad your not'
I slipped on the wet tiles and fell to the ground, my hand against my racing heart.
I got up and got in the shower,
Letting out a deep sigh as the hot water hit my skin.
I got out and curled up in bed codling my totoro plush close, letting tears seap into it.
I lay on the bed curled up in silence.
-Chris's POV-
I headed out my office with some papers when I noticed maddy's phone,
It kept buzzing from texts from Dylan.
I smiled and headed up to the bedroom.
"Hey darling, your phone is-
She looked up at me with tears in her eyes,
"Oh.."
I sat down on the bed and rubbed her back for comfort.
"Come on tell Chris what's wrong"
"I don't even know what's wrong with me anymore dad" she whispered
"I'm guessing this is about Dylan"
"You like him?" I asked still rubbing her back to calm her down, her almost drifting off into a sleep but not quite.
"I'm completely and utterly in love with him dad" she sighed turning on her side. Her back facing me.
"Yeah? What a lucky boy he must be then"
"But I don't want to be"
I frowned,
"Why is that"
" I can't let him in close"
" I don't get what your saying baby-
"I didn't expect you to dad it's fine"
"You let me in?whats the difference"
"I regret it honestly"
I sat up,
"You don't want me to be your dad?" I said hurt,
"No no! Dad of course not, I didn't mean it like that"
"Then what did you mean it like huh?!" I snapped,
"I'm dying dad!!" She screamed standing up.
I was taken back,
"All the people I know, all the people I care for and those who care for me are gonna get heartbroken! " she began to yell hysterically.
Tears streamed down her face like a water fall.
" baby that's not what the doctor said he-
"But he doesn't know how I feel does he!"
"One thing will lead to another and I'll die and you'll have to face with the loss and I can't have that" she paced the bedroom.
"I'll be just like mom, oh my god I'll be just like mom" she backed into the dressing table where she almost collapsed.
"Baby, baby calm down" I said helping her up.
She calmed down, her voice now breaking into squeaks and croaks from the tears.
"I just don't want you to get hurt incase something happens." She sobbed,
She sat down next to me,
All the things I wanted to do or say but I couldn't find the words.
But all I could say was,
"Baby your not gonna die"
"Look me in the eyes and say that again, try me"
I looked her in the eyes,
"Your the strongest girl I know, and you are my little girl and I know that you are a head strong, independent fighter that will fight for what you want. And I and the band have faith in you to grave cancer by the throat and kick it in the jaw" I said putting my hand on her shoulder.
She looked down and the floor and smiled as she sniffled,
" I hate you sometimes dad, but your the best thing that's ever happened to me"
She hugged me so I lay back and she rested her head on my chest.
"I would text that Dylan kid back"
"Should I?"
"I was in his shoes once back in high school, poor kid won't be sleeping all weekend"
She giggled, "did you have girl drama did you"
"Who didn't, girls messed me up in high school, kinda my weakness"
She kissed my chest and closed her eyes,
"I love you my darling"
"I love you too dad"
"Hey, don't stress about the letting people in thing, everyone will be lucky to have you as a friend"
"All I know is that I'm lucky to have a dad like you Chris"
We both smiled and passed out asleep.

Hope you enjoyed this filler.
I haven't been feeling the best today I was pushed around and harassed in the way to school this morning about my hair disorder and later in the day I was again harassed at night with my friend.
I also have been feeling really bad. I'm starting to get minor post traumatic stress from something that happened years ago which doesn't help my school grades.
Anyways I'm gonna try and sleep again.
I keep getting night terrors. Which sucks,
