I wake up to my alarm going off at 8:00 AM. I turn it off and I roll on my side. Luckily I feel like I got enough sleep to survive college today. I text Alexis Morning roommate! Let's go eat breakfast. She texts back Okay! I'm getting up.
I get up from bed and I walk to the kitchen. Alexis walks in after me. She says "Ugh. Why do we have school? I want more summer." I reply "Same here. We have more cinnamon bread for breakfast." She nods and we get breakfast. We eat breakfast and I ask "Should we head to lunch and eat together after morning classes?" She replies "Yes. Can we text the boys if you don't mind?" I answer "Yes we can ask them about it. I'm sure they would be happy with the invite and I hope they say yes. I'm going to bring a granola bar in case I get hungry because I have a 10 minute break between my first two classes." She says "I hope they can come too. Granola bar is a great idea."
After breakfast, we make water bottles for the day to have for classes. I grab a granola bar to put into my backpack. I grab my backpack and I put a notebook, a folder with notebook paper, my granola bar, and a bag of pencils in my backpack. I find my new pink planner I bought at Target and I slip it inside my backpack. I then put my laptop, chargers, and other necessities in my backpack. I put my schedules in my folder in my backpack and I zip it up. It should be ready for today.
I then decide I need to get dressed. I slip on a plain dark blue dress and I put socks on. I then put some simple jewelry on. After I finish, I grab my white converse and I set them next to my backpack. I walk out my room to Alexis' room. I see her putting on make-up. She is wearing a ruffled sleeve black dress and she has her black converse next to her. ((Next page is their outfits))
I exclaim "Hey girl. Love the outfit." She replies "Oh hey. I love your outfit too. What's up?" I reply "Nothing much. I'm ready for another year. Just kidding, no I'm not ready. I want it to be next summer or Christmas break already." She laughs and says "Haha. You always say you are so positive. Now you are wasting your life away and wanting no school. Who are you? Clarissa is it you?" I laugh and reply "Oh you know it's me. I just am in this weird mood of going back to school. It's different this year." She replies "Oh yeah. Well I guess that's good. Go put your shoes on. The boys will be here soon to pick us up. They are walking over." I say "Thanks." I walk out her room and to my room. I spray a little perfume and I slip my converse on. I grab my backpack and I put it on my back. I grab my water bottle and I slip it into the pocket of my backpack. I walk to the front door and I wait for Alexis. She walks in with her backpack on. She says "We definitely need pictures together. Ooh yes. Let's wait outside." I reply "Sure." We walk outside and we lock our door. We stand near the railing looking out. It's peaceful in the morning or at least right now.
I feel a kiss on my cheek and I see Xander. I squeal and say "Xander." He replies "Hey Clarissa." I immediately hug him and we also kiss. We link hands and I ask "Alexis, if you want pictures, we should take them now. Do you want to?" Xander asks "What pictures?" I reply "Oh Alexis wants picture with me to show off our outfits." He laughs and says "You girls are going to do it here. People will then know where you live if you think about it." I reply "So true. We don't need paparazzi. Haha." We all laugh. Alexis and I decide to take pictures on campus instead. Alexis and Alexander are going in one car while Xander and I will go in another car.
Xander and I go to his car. We put our backpacks in the back and he opens the car door for me. I say "I like you opening my door for me. Kiss?" He smiles and leans over. We kiss and then I get into the car. I'm so happy with him. He gets into the car. I feel my phone buzzing and Xander says "Clarissa, answer the phone. It's buzzing." I reply "Okay. I guess I will." I see it's my mom. I answer.
((Start of conversation))
M - Clarissa's Mom
C - Clarissa
C - Mom! Why are you calling me? Are you okay?
M - Honey I'm doing wonderful. I know it's someones first day back to college after a crazy summer. How do you feel? Are you better?
C - I feel great actually. I mean I feel a little sad coming back to school, but I have made so many great memories over summer, so I'm okay with it. How are you guys doing at home?
M - We are all doing well. Benjamin went back to school today. He was so mad. He was like "why education? They never let you read what you want. I hate school reading policies" I guess he just wants to read Lord of the Rings and Hobbit everyday.
C - Haha oh Benjamin. I hope he has a good day. I love you mom and I hope you have a great day too.
M - I hope you have a great day too honey. I love you tons... bye. I'll talk to you soon probably.
C - Bye mom I love you too.
((End of conversation))
I say "Xander, sorry about that. My mom was just calling to talk about the first day and how I was doing." He replies "No problem. I understand family is important. Missing your mom's call could've been horrible. I remember one time I missed my mom's call because I was too busy playing video games at my friend's house and she was so mad at me. Haha. How is your mom?" I reply "Oh my family are all doing well. Today was my brother's first day back to school as well." He says "Oh that's so cool that you are both headed back to school." We continue driving and he pulls into the parking lot. We find a parking spot that Xander considers mediocre. Haha. Okay.
Xander parks and we get out. We walk to where we were going to meet Alexander and Alexis. They show up soon after we did. Yay. Alexis says "Okay. Let's do pictures now please." Alexander says "Sure. Just pose wherever you want to and I'll take it." Alexis squeals and pulls me. We smile and pose next to each other. He takes the picture and then we take a silly picture. Xander and I take pictures together then Alexander and Alexis take pictures together. Alexis flags down this girl to take a squad pic of all of us. This girl agrees and we take a few.
After the pictures, we check the time. We all coincidentally have a morning class in the university. Our university is PCU also known as PixelCity University. It's a public rather large university with lots to offer. If you can't tell by the name, technology is a big major here. ((Totally made it up-haha))
Alexis and I part ways with the guys who are going to the science wing. Alexis and I both have Principles of Managerial Accounting together. The class is supposed to be all about management, learning budgets and how to run a business. We walk inside our class and we take a seat next to each other in the third row to the left. Perfect angle to see the teacher and it's not too far from the center. Very nice. We get our binders out to begin our note taking. A man walks into the lecture hall and writes the class title on the board. He then exclaims "Welcome to Principles of Managerial Accounting. I'm your Professor and my name is Professor McCarty. I won't bother to learn your names until you start turning in assignments, so forgive me if I forget. This class will be every other morning, so be ready. This class is focused on manufacturing, merchandising, budget making, explaining the functions of a business and accounting through decision making. We will begin our first lesson in 2 minutes. Get your laptops or notepads ready." Everyone grabs their stuff and we start our first lesson.
At the end of the class, Professor McCarty ends with "Great lesson everyone. Make sure to pick up the homework on the table by the door. It's due Wednesday. See you Wednesday." The lesson ends. Everyone packs their stuff up. We grab or homework and we walk out the lecture hall. I ask "What is your next class?" She replies "AP English 2. What about you?" I look down at my schedule and I reply "Wait? I have that too. Do you have lecture hall 4A?" She replies "Yes omg. Let's go." We go outside and we eat our granola bars as we walk to our next class. We toss our trash away and we make it to our AP English class. We walk inside and take seats on the third row again. I take a composition notebook out to take notes. I see a text from Justin that reads Hope your first day back is good. I text back Thanks! Hope your day is good as well. I'm glad we still talk. I would miss him too much if we never spoke at all.
The class starts when the lady at the front of the room says "Morning AP English 2. I'm Professor Bell and we are going to begin our first lesson right now." The class goes on...
At the end of English, Alexis and I grab our homework and we then make our way back outside to the area where we all met in the morning. I see a text from Xander We are on our way to see you guys. Just finished our class. I text back Yay! See you soon! I say "Well they are on the way apparently." She replies "Yep. I'm ready for lunch. Where do you want to go?" I reply "I'm in a sub mood. What about you?" She replies "I could go for a sub too. Yum. Let's head to the one we ran into them at." I nod and reply "Okay. Sounds like a plan." I feel arms wrap around my waist and I feel a kiss on my cheek. I say "Hey boyfriend." Xander answers "Hey girlfriend. Ready?" I nod and we hold hands. We walk to the car and we get in. I say "Remember that sub place we all ate at?" He replies "Yeah is that where we are headed for lunch?" I reply "Yep." We drive to the sub place. It's packed. Wow. We park and we head inside. I pull Xander into line. I text Alexis We are already in line. Want us to order your subs or want us to just find a place to sit? She texts back Get us a place to sit. We are almost there, had to stop for gas. I text back :)
We keep moving in line and we reach the front. Our turn! Yay! We order our subs, grab our bags, grab our drinks, and we find a booth for all of us. I ask "Is it rude if we start without them?" He laughs and replies "Nah. Let's eat, I'm so hungry." We start eating. I ask "Hey. I just realized I don't know what your major is. What is it if you don't mind me asking?" He answers "I'm majoring to be a doctor when I graduate. I will also have medical school after this." I reply "Wow what a smart boy. I'm majoring in business with a side hobby of photography." He replies "Nice nice."
Alexis and Alexander show up and they slide into the booth. Alexander says "I hear that you two girls have the same two morning classes. That is lucky." I reply "Yeah we have classes together. It's been nice to be with a friend." Alexis adds "Very helpful because if one of us gets sick, we can get notes or something from each other. We will have each other's backs." I nod. Xander says "Alexander and I have our first class together." Alexander says "Yeah that was good." I ask "What is your major, Alexander?" He replies "Doctor." I reply "Oh so you and Xander have the same major. Best friend goals." Everyone laughs. I smile at Xander who smiles back at me. We finish lunch and we head out. We get into the car and we head back to the camps. I ask "How many classes do you have left today?" He replies "One what about about you?" I reply "I have one as well." He parks and we get out. I ask "How long until your class starts?" He answers "Oh 10 minutes." I reply "Me too." We sit down on a bench and I say "I like spending time with you even if it is heading to class or eating lunch with friends." He replies "I like spending time with you too." We both smile. We kiss and then we head to classes.
I walk into my next class, which is called Business Through Technology. I'm really excited for this class. Business Through Technology is supposed to be focused on learning how to work on business tactics through online programs. In the class, we will also work on computer programs almost exactly like the ones businesses use today. I love it! I walk inside and I take a seat. I made it here like 2 minutes early, but surprisingly there are tons of seats left to sit in. I pull out a new notebook and a pen ready to start class.
The Professor tells us that next class we will need to bring a computer of some kind of a large tablet. Phones are too small for the programs to function on and bigger screens are better to work with. We get new info about websites to try out. Class finishes and I walk out. I'm pretty sure that was my last class for the day. Let me check. I pull my schedule out and I see that I have zero classes left today.
I start walking to the parking lot. I pull my phone out and I text Xander Hey Xander. My classes are over for today. I know your class ends soon-ish. Want to meet where we all took pictures this morning? I'll walk over there. He texts back Yeah sure I'm on my way out right now. I walk outside and I sit on a bench as I wait for Xander. Alexis comes and sits next to me. She asks "How was a class without me?" I reply "It was sad. How was a class without me?" She replies "I legit kept thinking you were just late. I was just so sad." We both then sit there for a few more minutes before we see both guys walking over. Xander holds out his hand and I take it. We then walk to his car.
We get inside the car and he starts driving. Xander asks "How was your first day back at college?" I reply "Pretty good actually. I think this year will be tolerable. How was your day? Did you like this campus better than your last one?" He answers "My day was tolerable as well. Next semester, we start going to hospitals to see them. Then, next school year, we get a part time job at one of the hospitals based off of what we do this and last semester. This campus is so much better than my last one." I reply "Wow. That's cool. I'm so proud of you." He replies "Thank you. Now, I'm super tired from the day and I want to be reenergized, so do you want to go on a run with me when we get back?" Hm... a run?? With my boyfriend??? Hm.... I answer "Oh sure. Sounds great." We continue driving back to the apartment.
We pull into the parking lot and he parks in his normal spot. We get out and we walk upstairs. I head to my apartment while he heads to his. I take a few selfies in my outfit and I take a picture of my outfit. I then change into workout clothes. I put socks on and I tie my tennis shoes. I grab my phone and my key before I leave the apartment. I wonder where Alexis is. Oh well. I lock the door and I walk over to Xander's apartment. I knock and he opens the door. He smiles and he says "Oh hey. I was just going to walk over." He closes the door behind him and we walk downstairs. We walk to the trail and we run together.
As we run, Xander says "I like running with you. Your pace is a lot better than Alexander. He runs so fast like I legit hate it." I laugh and reply "Well Alexis is the same pace as me, so if both of them run together, she will probably either fall behind or die keeping up with him." He then laughs at that. We keep running until we decide to stop for the day.
We walk up the stairs and I exclaim "I feel death. Can I just fall right now?" He asks "Want me to carry you up? I can tell you are tired." Boyfriend goals oh what what .... haha... I reply "No babe. I'm going to keep walking up." He smirks and replies "Babe? Wow, you're turning me on and I'm really enjoying this." Ooh nerd say what? I can't believe he admitted I turn him on. Well then... ooh la la or no? Haha. I reply "Yeah you got a problem with babe. I'm glad I turn you on especially since I'm super sweaty and tired." He laughs. He then says back "Okay then babe I like you a lot even if you are hot and sweaty."
I laugh and we keep walking up the stairs. Before we separate, Xander wraps his arms around my waist and says "So I really want to kiss you, but I don't want other neighbors to interrupt us, so can we head inside your apartment for this kiss." I smile and I say "Sure." He smiles really big and he lets me go to open the door. I open the door and I say in a loud-ish voice "Alexis you here?" I hear nothing, so we are good.
Xander closes the door and he walks up to me. He pulls me to him and we end up making out. Yeah it was hot and I had butterflies in my stomach. Don't worry, we didn't do it though. I'm saving myself for the perfect time, which I will know when that time comes. So yeah. I end up pulling away when I realize I can barely breathe. He leans his forehead on mine and says "That was pretty hot." I laugh and he kisses me on the cheek. He then says "I liked it though. It was great and exciting." I reply "I liked it too." He smiles and we kiss one last time. After the kiss, we pull away. Xander says "Alright. I'm going to go back to my apartment. I'll tell Alexis you are back, so she can leave. Wait. What time is your first class tomorrow?" I reply "9:00 AM. What about you?" He replies "Same okay. I'll pick you up at 8:35. Does that sound good?" I nod and reply "Sounds great." He then says "Bye babe." I reply "Bye boyfriend." He smiles and waves as he walks out the apartment.
Wow. I can't believe I had my first make out session. Who knew that day would ever come? Haha. I guess I'm growing up. Oh know why is time flying? I want to go back to the good ole days.
I walk to my room, grab clothes, and I walk to the bathroom. I take a shower and then I put clean clothes on. I walk out my room and to Alexis' room. I open it to see her on her bed. I smile really big and say "Hey girl. Let's talk." She replies "Yes! I've got some stuff to say too." I walk inside and I sit across her in the crisscross position. I ask "Want me to start?" She nods. I say "Well I went on a run with Xander. It was actually really nice to just run with him instead of focusing on conversation. I liked it a lot. I also slipped up and called him babe. Then, he told me it turned him on. I laughed and then we ended up coming inside the apartment and making out. I stopped it when I couldn't breathe. He left soon after that." Alexis smiles and says "Wow. You two are cute. I mean, wow your first make out session. Ah! I'm lowkey freaking out." I laugh and reply "Yeah. Well, now it's your turn to tell me about your day." She replies "Um... well I made out with Alexander for a long time. Then, we headed out to get shakes. When we got back, we made our again. I left when I felt ready. That's about it." I reply "Wow. Did you like it?" She replies "Almost too much actually." I smile. She likes him so much, but she better watch out for him. I can't tell her or she might flip and hate me. I say "Okay. Want to go warm the pizza for dinner?" She replies "Sure. Let's do it." We walk out and to the kitchen. We each get some pizza out and warm it up.
We then sit and eat dinner together. I say "What classes do you have tomorrow? I hope we have at least one together tomorrow. Have you done any homework from today? I was going to do some after dinner and a shower." She laughs and replies "Gosh no. I haven't even started. I might do it tomorrow." I reply "Alexis, you need to stop procrastinating and do your homework. You will fall behind and soon not be able to keep up." She answers "Well look I really don't care. Also, I really am trying not to fight about this. I survived high school like this. I'm fine." I nod and we finish eating in silence. I get a bowl of Oreos and I pour myself a cup of milk. I walk into my bedroom and I take a shower. Maybe this shower will relax me a little. I get out of the shower and I call Justin. I hope he answers because I want to talk to him. I put my earbuds in my phone to wait for him to answer, which he does.

C- Clarissa
C- Hey Justin. I'm glad you can talk tonight. I just want to talk to someone kind and nice to me.
J- Oh Clarissa, I'm so sorry to hear you are sad. What happened? If it is a boy, I will personally hurt him.
C- It's not a boy don't worry. It's my roommate again.
J- What the heck Clarissa. You need to get away from her if she is constantly being mean to you. What did she do this time? Last time I checked she stole the date you had and she yelled at you for talking to me.
C- She was nice this morning when we had two classes together. Then, tonight at dinner I was asking if she started the homework because you know I wanted to make casual conversation. She tells me how she is going to do it tomorrow instead. I told her to not procrastinate because it's college. She snaps and gets mad at me about telling her what to do. Then, we sat in silence for the rest of dinner.
J- Clarissa, I'm so sorry she didn't listen to you. That sucks. She'll realize you are right someday. I'm glad I was the one you decided to call. When and if you get a boyfriend, you should call him as well because he will get jealous you talk to me about your problems. Please don't be mad I told you this. I really care for you and love you.
C- I guess you are right. I should've called my boyfriend. Oops I will call him after this.
J- Oh your date went well with the other guy.
C- Yeah it went well. We went on a couple of casual dates and we are boyfriend girlfriend. How was the date you had?
J- Oh it was okay. The girl is more my friend instead of date. I might go on another date soon with a new girl. How was your first day back?
C- You know it was great. My classes were really interesting although I did get homework in all of them. It was nice to be back sort of. Haha. How was your day?
J- Meetings filled with tour stuff. I only snapped at people once and I was like Clarissa would be proud.
C- You're right. Good job. Well I feel better now thank you Justin. Bye and talk to you soon. Love you.
J- Bye Clarissa I love you.

I guess I should've called Xander since he is my boyfriend now. Whoops. Well I'll call him now.
I press call next to Xander's name. He answers.
((Start of conversation))
X- Xander
C- Clarissa
X- Clarissa, what's wrong?
C- I'm okay. I just want to talk to you. Alexis was snappy again tonight.
X- Ugh what is she doing to you? What happened?
C- Well, tonight at dinner I was asking if she started the homework because you know I wanted to make casual conversation. She tells me how she is going to do it tomorrow instead. I told her to not procrastinate because it's college. She snaps and gets mad at me about telling her what to do. Then, we sat in silence for the rest of dinner.
X- Oh no. How horrible. Want me to come spend the night? I'll bring homework and some clothes for tomorrow.
C- Um... I guess so. Tell Alexander to invite Alexis over to your place. She needs some space I think some time with him.
X- Of course I'll ask him. I won't tell him what happened.
C- Thank you. You are wonderful. Bye boyfriend.
X- Bye girlfriend.

I then close my phone and I change into pajamas. I open my backpack and I take some homework out. I take my laptop out and I open it. I hear a knock on my door and I say "Come on in." Alexis walks in and says "I'm headed over to Alexander's place. See you tomorrow." I reply "Goodbye Alexis. See you tomorrow." She leaves my room.
I keep working on my homework until I see my phone buzzing with texts. I see a text from Xander I'm here. I text back Coming! I then get up from my bed. I walk out and I open the door. Xander has a backpack and duffel bag. He walks inside the apartment and smiles. I say "Follow me." He follows me to my bedroom. I say "You can set your stuff wherever you want." He sets his stuff by my dresser and he kicks off his shoes. He walks over and opens his arms. I give him a big hug and he just holds me. Gosh I love this.
We keep hugging until he pulls apart slightly. He says "How are you doing?" I reply "I'm better thanks for coming. I like it a lot." He smiles and he says "Is a kiss okay? I don't wan you to feel pressured or anything." I answer "Oh no it's okay. You can kiss me." He smiles and leans in. I move my arms to around his neck during the kiss. I open my mouth to deepen the kiss. We finally break from each other and he says "I feel pretty good myself right now." I smile and reply "Me too. I'm going to do some homework for about an hour. What about you?" He replies "Yeah I might as well. Do you mind if I spread stuff on your floor?" I answer "Not at all, but may I interest you in a lap desk? I have a gray one and a pink one with a cup holder." He replies "I'll use the pink one." I walk over and I bring it to him. He replies "Thanks." I then sit at my desk and I set a one hour timer. I then start my homework.
My timer goes off. I press the off button and I notice that I did pretty well. I got a good start to it and I can finish tomorrow. I plug my laptop in and I start putting new materials in my backpack for tomorrow. I then look at Xander to see him deeply into his work. He has spread out papers and textbooks next to him while he reads his laptop. I walk over carefully over and I kneel next to him. I lightly kiss him on the cheek and I say "Xander, you should go to bed. You'll need the energy tomorrow. You can come over after the classes. You can even spend the night again." He replies "Really? I can do that." I reply "Sure you can. Coming to bed now?" He replies "Yeah let me just plug my laptop in." He gets up and plugs his laptop in. He moves his papers over into a little area. He holds his hands out to help me up. I take them and I stand. I turn on my bed lamp and I turn off the big light. We walk over to the bed. I plug my phone in and he does as well. I ask "Do you want to set a timer or want me too?" He replies "I will." He sets a timer while I climb in bed. He sets his phone down and he climbs into bed. I get closer to him and he wraps his arms around me. I flip off the light and I exclaim "Thank you for coming tonight Xander. You're a great boyfriend." He responds "You're welcome Clarissa. I liked it. Good night." I reply "Night." We then fall asleep.
