Bree Pov .....
I mentally prepare myself for my brother visit I really don't know what to expect.
I knocked on the door expecting him to answer but instead a beautiful milk chocolate woman answer the door.
" hi "
" hey I was wondering is my brother live here "
" oh you're Kyle oldest sister Kevin told me you was coming, your brother didn't want to believe him, but I knew you would, come in please" the girl said opening the door wider
" Sasha who is at the d-" Kyle stop his sentence once he realize it was me.
" imma let you guys talk Ky I'll be back in a little " The girl said leaving out
I didn't realize Ky had his daughter in his arms. She was so beautiful.
" I wasn't expecting you to come " Kyle said nonchalantly
" of course I came over here to see my new niece and to also talk "
We walked inside the living room area.
" she is adorable can I hold her " I said
He slowly passed her over to me.
She stirred a little in her sleep.
" her name is Kaia "
" hi Kaia " I said to her like she could hear me.
" she is so beautiful "
I can see some of Kyle features in her.
" thanks " he said with a smile tugging on his lips
" look Bree I'm sorry about what I said , I always thought mom and dad treated you better because you were smart and I felt like they always put you on this high pedestal "
" when they find out what happen between you and that asshole , I felt like y'all forgot all about me. It really got to me when they didn't even show up to my last game in Middle school"
" and I was so hurt neither Brianna or Kev came as well " Ky said
I can tell he had that balled up in him for a while. It made me feel like a bad person now.
" but I knew it was wrong for me to feel that way back then " Kyle said
I lay Kaia on the couch to comfort him. Even though I can't stand him sometimes that is still my baby brother.
I know him being the baby of the family he needed the attention back then but I felt like I took that a way because of my foolish acts.
I wish I wasn't so gullible back then.
" I'm so sorry Bree for not being their for you like a brother should have " he said with tears sliding down his cheek.
" and I'm sorry about what I said at dinner, it was just a lot of frustration built up in me at the time "
" no ky I'm sorry "
" if it wasn't for the Decisions I made when I was younger we problaby wouldn't be where we are now "
" I truly apologize "I said looking at him.
We both hugged it out silently.
" so we good now "
" yea we good " Kyle said
" so um you and that boy living under the same roof now " Kyle said making a sour face.
I wanted to laugh at his expression.
" yea we didn't have a choice Jada and Victor wrote in their will that it would be best "
" oh how you feel about it "
" to be honest I'm only doing it for my niece and nephew "
Kyle nodded his head
" so how is Sasha is she a good mother "
" Sasha is wonderful mother , she cooks , clean , make sure Kaia is good , I just wish I got to know her more before getting in her pants " he said laughing slightly.
" mhmm I bet " I said
" Mann don't give me that look I know I fucked up " he said
I quickly hit him in the chest
" ouch what you do that for " he said holding his chest
" their is a baby in here "
" she sleep and besides she don't even know what that word mean " Ky said
Kaia started to whine and Kyle quickly got up rushing for her aid
" what's wrong mamas " he said
He unbutton her onesie to check her diaper but that wasn't the problem.
" hey can you warm up one of Kaia bottles for me please they are in the refrigerator " he said trying to get Kaia situated in his arms
I walked into the kitchen looking for her bottles. I found them in the frig pre-made I got one putting in the microwave for like 10 seconds.
" here you go " I said handing it to him
I just watch Kyle tending to his daughter. It was a cute moment. I can tell it mature him because the old Kyle would have never been like this.
It made me wonder would I have been a good mother.
After that I left Kyle heading back to Jay house.
Their was two cars outside parked at the garage.
I wonder who they belong to.
I open up the door to see Jason playing some game on the tv with one of Jay's friend.
" man that ain't fair "
" don't be mad Rj , you just can't play now hand my nephew his money "
I was glad to see Jason getting out his depress zone.
I cleared my throat to get their attention.
" Hey Auntie " Jay said
" hey baby why don't you get ready for dinner "
" ok " he said
I walked into the kitchen putting the groceries away. I had stop their after leaving Kyle.
Jay didn't have an ounce of food in his refrigerator.
How do you live off of Gatorade and TV dinners.
" it's food here you didn't have to stop by the grocery store " I heard Jay said
I looked up to see him standing at the entry of the kitchen,
" Um did you forget you have to feed 2 kids a cooked meal they can't live off that stuff you eat"
" I definitely can't for myself " I mumble
" well at least it's healthy stuff and besides I'm on a strict diet anyways "
" boy please you can play that crap all you want as soon as you smell this fried chicken cooking you gone be the first one at the table "
" pshhhh please " he said waving me off
" yo Jay me and Sterl about to head out " his friend said
" aight man I'll catch y'all later "
I watch they do their little handshake.
I washed my hands before before taking the chicken out.
An hour later .......
I had my little speaker playing my favorite songs and " Formation " by Beyonce came on.
She really touched my "Black Sista Soul" as I would call it listening to the lemonade album.
" ok ladies now let's get in formation " I song out loud
I was in my own little world until I notice Jay was recording me.
" Delete that Jay " I said pouting
" too late , now the world knows that you are a big fan of Beyoncé " he said cheesing
I couldn't stand that smile. It was so freaking goofy.
I realized he only had on his New York Giant shorts and displaying his upper body of art I always wonder how did he get all that stuff to fit on his body like that.
" you see sumthin you like " he said smirking
" no I'll pass on that " I said waving him off.
I heard the door bell ringing and Jay went to go get it.
" is the food almost ready " I heard Jason say
He came in the kitchen rubbing his stomach.
" in about five minutes but what you can do is go get your sister "
" aight " he said leaving out
" BRUH I TOLD YO ASS TO STAY AWAY FROM HERE "
" BUT BABY I LOVE YOU AND I KNOW YOU LOVE ME TOO "
I walked out the kitchen to see what was the big fuss about.
I know it was probably one of Jay toys he play around with if you get what I'm saying.
And I was right .
