Chapter 6 - knowing things
Luke's POV
"Hey Dodger," I shout to him, he puts down his snooker cube and looks around like a headless chicken.
"Dodger what are you doing?" I ask
"Someone said my name," he whispers
"Yeah I know that was me," I laugh
"Orr what! why'd you scare me like that PLEDGE!!!" he shouts slapping me on the head.
"OOOWWW!!"..."Sorry, I just wanted to apologise about Lilly yesterday."
"Oh listen mate don't worry about it girls can be crazy hormonal bitches especially when they gots bun in the oven, don't worry about it," He says
"SSSSSSSSSHHH!!"... "Dodger you can't say that so loudly!!" I whisper
"Oh sorry, especially when they're on their periods is what I meant to say!!" he shouts loudly.
"Shut up, I'm starting to regret telling you!!" I whisper again.
"Give me 50 press ups!!" he shouts
"What no!!" I tut
"Err yes, remember you're a pledge you gotta do what I say" he smiles.
"Well my girlfriend needs me," I sigh
"Then she'll still need you after your 50 press ups, now come on pledge hazing starts now!!" he yells
"Actually hazing started yesterday when you made all the pledges drink bugs."
"PLEDGE!!" he yells back and clicks his fingers before pointing to the floor.
I sigh and roll my eyes before getting on the floor to do the press ups.
Lilly's POV
Jess rubs my back softly and I cry some more as I hang my head over the toilet and throw up one last time.
"So are you I'll or something?" Jess asks
"Yeah I ate some bad fruit earlier," I lie and Jess just nods
"Do you want me to call Luke?" she asks
I shake my head and stand up and walk over to my bed and sit down with Jess.
"No he's probably too busy with his fraternity brothers!" I scoff
"Too busy to comfort you?" she asks raising her eyebrow.
I nod my head and get under my bed covers.
"He's probably playing video games with Dodger, or being hazed or watching porn with Dodger or drinking beer with Dodger," I groan
Jess laughs and walks over to her desk and starts to turn on the computer.
"Why you laughing?" I chuckle
"I think someone's jealous," she smiles typing in her password.
"Who? ME!!!" I scoff "no I'm not, I'm definitely not!!!!" I moan
She smiles and raises her eyebrow swivelling her chair round to face me.
"YOU SO ARE!!!!" she giggles
"Am not!!! i'm just annoyed that I'm making the effort to see Luke and he's more bothered about drinking beer with his dumb frat bros!" I sigh
*knock* *knock* *knock*
I turn my head and see Luke at the door looking sad and disappointed staring at floor.
"Awkward!" Jess says getting up and walking out the door, as she does Luke lifts his head and stares at me right in the eye as he bites his lip and shakes his head leaning on the door with one elbow and his hand running through his hair.
I close my lips together and just look at him.
He sighs and walk in sitting on the end of the bed, I sigh and run my fingers through my hair.
"I can't believe you think that I'm too busy for you or that I'd rather be with my "frat bros" than you," he wines
"Well Luke it sure seems that way!" I groan getting out of bed and walking over to the door grabbing my dressing gown and wrapping it around my self as I'm cold in just my pyjamas.
I then walk back and sit on my bed next to Luke.
"Your just!" he shouts
"Oh what Luke go on what!!!" I shout
"I don't know what to do I never know if I'm doing things for me or for the sake of you now and it jut seems like everything I do is wrong and I know it's pregnancy hormones but your acting like its all my fault your pregnant and none of the fault is yours," he shouts
"I'm angry!!" I yell
"What!!ABOUT WHAT!!!"
"YOU" I shout "you get to walk around single handedly and no one will ever know that you got me knocked up! But soon when I walk around everyone see that I'm a dumb slut that was stupid enough to get pregnant !!!" I start to cry.
Luke just goes silent and looks at me.
"Lil, I don't understand why you don't just talk to me," he sighs
"I'm talking to you now," I say wiping my eyes.
"well that whole Dodger thing you didn't! You know I'm sure you'd like Dodger if you got to know him," Luke smiles
"What's that smile about," I ask confused
"Erm well I kind of already agreed that us two would go on a double date with him and his girlfriend Poppy," he says
"POPPY! POPPY THE HEAD OF MY HOUSE!!!!" I shout
"Yepp," he laughs
"Why would Poppy wanna date Dodger?" I chuckle
"I dunno, anyway is that a yes?" Luke smiles
"I suppose," I sigh
"Great,"he smiles "see you later," he adds kissing me on he forehead before getting up and leaving.
Luke's POV
The waiter shows us all to our table and me and Lilly sit down next to each other an Poppy and Dodger sit together facing us.
The waiter passes us our menus and we all awkwardly smile. This is so much more awkward than I thought it would be.
"Can't wait to try the food here," I smile
"Yeah it's supposed to be really good," Poppy awkwardly nods.
"Mmm," Dodger and Lilly both nod a they read the menus.
Awkward....
"Errr so Lilly you err gonna apologise about yesterday," Dodger coughs
"I'm sorry," Lilly smiles
"Oh nothing just clearing my throat," Dodger smiles
"Ok," Lilly sighs looking back at her menu.
"Bitch!!" Dodger coughs
"Em sorry WHAT!!!" Lilly shouts
"Nothingggggggg," Dodger smiles and chuckles
"No seriously WHAT!!!" Lilly yells
"I said bitch!!!" he yells back
"Ooh," Lilly gasps
"Yeah that's right your a fuckin bitch!!!" He shouts
"Well at least I'm not a drunk!!" Lilly yells
"WOAH!!!! My boyfriend is not a drunk!!!" Poppy butts in
"Errr yeah he is!!!" Lilly sighs
"Well at least he's not a slut like you!" Poppy smiles
"Oh!! Well at least I'm not stupid enough to date Dodger!" Lilly yells
"OH!!! At least I'm not that useless that my major is dance!!" Poppy scoffs
"At least I have a major!!" Lilly tuts
"At least my boobs fit in my shirt and they're not so big they can't even fit in my top!!" Poppy snarls
"BOOBS!!!" me and Dodger chuckle
"At least I tell people what my natural hair colour is and I don't dye it secretly!!" Lilly groans
"Ohhh, you wanna play that way fine I can play dirty!!" Poppy smiles
"No poppy don't I know whatvyou're gonna do!!" Dodger shouts
Poppy just smiles
"Poppy don't!!" Dodger yells
"At least I'm gonna get my period this month!!!" Poppy smiles staring evilly at Lilly.
My jaw drops and I stare at Dodger angrily as he obviously told Poppy, Dodger stares fuming at Poppy as he probably didn't want Poppy to tell coz that would make it clear he told, Poppy smiles at Lilly and stares at her proud of her hurtful statement.
And then there's Lilly, poor Lilly just staring at me with her eyes filled with sorrow and pain.
"Luke," she whimpers, I turn my head and look right into her eyes that have now tears coming out of them.
"DODGER I CANT BELIEVE YOU TOLD!!!!" I yell at Dodger
"Poppy flippin blew my cover!!" Dodger yells slapping Poppy on the arm.
"Luke," she whimpers again and more tears fall onto her cheek.
"Aaw Lil I'm so sorry," I say and she just shakes her head stares at me as she starts to cry.
"How could you," she cries
"Lil, I'm..." I sigh
She just shakes her head again and rushes out of the restaurant crying.
"LIL!!" I shout, she keeps running.
"Ugh why the hell did you do that!!" I scream at Dodger.
"Poppy told Lilly!" he shouts
"UGH!!" Me Poppy and Dodger all scoff at the same time stamping our feet and folding our arms.
"Hi hope your all having a lovely evening Can I take your order?" The waiter smiles taking out her note pad and pen.
